Epic Cash stats fucked up again?
 

I'm looking at some weird numbers on the mail program.... another glitch? Last time everything went back to normal and I think I didnt lose any sales, what's up today?

IMO you need new affilate stats software... if its custom it was coded shitty and if not I'd like to knoe what POS affiliate software that is.

Shit is ALWAYS slow and somtimes I lose hits and somtimes I gain hits to sites I have never had a link up to.

And I'm not a technical retard... Its very possible to do what your stats section does without having database sync problems or the slow speeds.

Who's freaking out? I'm asking other webmasters if they see fucked up stats again. I'm doing that for 2 reasons:

- Make sure it really is a problem in the stats, and not just me.
- Warn them about the problem.

Then I would contact EC about it, only IF it was a problem with the stats AND I didnt get my sales back like I did last time. But since you guys read this board anyway, I dont even have to do that.

You use GFY to make money, so take the heat and dont YOU freak out. And please tell me what's up with the stats, that's all I wanted to know. Tell me it's a glitch and I wont freak out, I never called you a shaver.

its gonna be easier to just say our shaver is fucked up and we are working on fixing it.. so take that as the excuse and pull your links asap.

i guess things work 100% of the time when you modify programs to upgrade how things work... everyone is perfect and nothing ever goes wrong...

Poor. But that doesn't mean it's a bad program. WEG and FEB do well for me so I figured epicmail would do well also.

And the question I asked was how can I have UNIQUES in my mailer stats when I ONLY use remote boxes? On top of that I only promote 4 niches with the remote boxes. Those 4 niches are the only hits I show in the stats. The second 1/2 of the question was "Is a unique hit an unverified email?"

Well, when most companies make changes to an application..especially critical applications...they heavily test the changes before releasing them.

Stat problems are not the only reason they were pulled. You sure are hostile with the people that pay your rent.

I dont give a fuck if you shave, when your mail program works I make money, and I have bigger plans for it. But, IT HAS TO WORK.

If you told me the stats were ok I would have to look at my sites, my traffic, my html, etc... I know you dont need my $100 daily bucks, but there's a lot of people reading, you may lose more than that by acting stupid.

Well, if you are so big like you say..you should have some good programmers...but seems like they aren't too good if they don't even know you should test applications before hand.

I always laugh when people say errors happen sometimes. Yes, they do...but if they keep happening, it shows there ignorance and they don't do good quality control.

well thank you for your imput, we do just fine though. We have one of the best programmers in the business.. send your traffic elswhere if that makes you feel more comfortable with yourself.

paying out 400k a month isnt a simple task, you should try it.

Other programs don't seem to constantly have problems. Big programs, too.

I have worked with some great programmers. Even the best make mistakes, and this is why things are tested before hand. It as a simple as you a missing step in your development cycle.

LOL! I am the moron. That is a good one. You rely heavily on your affiliate appilication. 2 errors within the matters of weeks is a big deal for a critical application. I have worked as a software consultant for quite a few years...if I released a critical application to a company that was buggy, I would have been fucked. This is why you spend the little extra time testing. Quite simple, but unfortunately many miss this vitital step.

Who cares if people still got what they want, it still looks bad upon your business because you released a buggy application without proper testing.

I know you will have another smart ass remark. That is the way you work. But I know you are understanding what I am saying and will probably test further before releasing new changes next time.

I don't know what everyone is bitching about. You can always reach P1mpdogg on ICQ and he always responds back. My stats are down too and I sent him a message and when he got it he replied this morning.

The last time stats went down, they came back better than before. Who can complain about that? It is a new program and with that comes lots of changes. It's perfectly normal to question whats going on. But then you should realize that every new thing has its quirks and needs some ironing out.

I have been converting at 1:2 with the mailer program - in case you didn't catch that i said 1:2. That's phenomenal. Best I've ever converted with any program. So I'm not going anywhere. And when (or should i say IF) I have a problem I'll take it up with p1mpdogg directly.

Microsoft sells an application they want people to keep buying. They always want people to want more so they buy more. And there applications have to run on so many different hardware scenarios...a little different scenario than your application.

Your application is not for sell. It is a business critical application. If Amazon had buggy applications running there site, would they suffer greatly? You bet...would they rebound quickly, yes. But they would suffer for a bit.

If you can't see the difference between Windows and your application, I will not take your "I'm Dumb" comments as a joke reply anymore.
