Would love to go there, Romanian girls I met in the UK were hot.
|
If they just lowered the car to 24 inches and got some 16 inch rims that'd be a sweet ride! :1orglaugh
|
Definitely have plans to travel to Romania & Ukraine one day ... graet places for outsourcing work from here.
|
Sorry to anyone who is from Romania and felt offended by me saying "I woulnd't touch a Romanian chick".
I read the other comments and came to the conclusion that perhaps I am missing something. For me simply Romania has the worst reputation in the world, when we are talking about the citizens, but I know that this may be only a stereotype. Even polish people have not everywhere a good reputation. :glugglug |

I would like to visit some time!

Romania has a beautiful mountain landscape, that's where the newly released movie "Cold Mountain" was almost entirely shot. I was in such a Dracula tour in Romania, where some nice castles combined with the natural landscape and great wine made an excellent trip. It's a country of contrasts, struggling to get rid of the old communist legacy in a slower way than other East European countries ... |

Many of them were coming to Poland only to beg ( or sometimes steal ). From time to time hey were caught by the police and deported to Romania. That may give me a false impression of Romanian people in generall. I will try to change it by visiting Romania some day. |

gypsies are everywhere but here they're like 11-14% ! 80% of Romania's felonies are made by gypsies. I think Cash's answer said it all: it's a country of contrasts. The wine is GREAT, I'm a wine drinker myself and I was curious and drunk some austrian wine and some tokai (hungarian) and I thought: "WTF is this shit?". you might wonder why nobody has heard of romanian wine : because we don't know how to market it. Mr.Fiction: I don't rent. For an apartment like the one I live you'd have to pay like $300-$350/month which is lot for the town I live |

Then they were deported to Romania. Gypsies aren't deported anywhere, they stay. I didn't mean that as an offense, I should even have more knowledge about it because of my studies in "international relations". :) Anyway, l'll come to Romania and you'll buy me a wine, you'll come to Poland and I'll buy you a vodka :glugglug |
that donkey is hot

Here are some pics I took in Romania last year.
http://artware.net/peles.jpg http://artware.net/mountains.jpg It's a very beautiful country. They have a lot more great things to offer than wine, but indeed it seems they don't know how to market it. For the rest I agree 100% with what Cash said. |
Romanians should produce that "car thing" for the worldtrade:winkwink: great pic
|
that's quite a catchy ad campaign - 'Visit Romania' :1orglaugh
