Does anyone have a Toyota Echo

...if so what are the pros and cons? Are you satisfied with the durability of it? I am considering buying a new econo car and the Echo is supposed to do 43 miles to the gallon.

Odin88 01-25-2004 12:24 AM

I hope you are buying it for your little sister or something to practice on?

I tried it and it was great, and the seats were confortable. I'm guessing it is pretty durable.

no, I have a 2004 Lexus RX-330. Next year I'll prolly get an SC-430.

Keep working until you can afford a real car.

DreamCumTrue 01-25-2004 01:10 AM

I stayed with some people who had one. It was really cramped in the back seat.

FYI...Danny Boy...I "work" if and when I feel like it...just to occupy my time. I can afford to buy any car on the market (and pay cash for it)...but I prefer an econo car...for multiple reasons. Now get in your Lexus...drive down to the local drugstore...buy a condom (small size)...then pull it down over your head...you little fucking prick.

theking 01-25-2004 02:21 PM

Any more input?

Lykos 01-25-2004 03:21 PM

One of my friends have it..but most i can say is that he is satisfed with that car:thumbsup

Honeyslut 01-25-2004 03:30 PM

Don't know anyone that has one. :)

Good afternoon Honey. :Graucho I had never heard of the Echo until I did some research. I have heard good things about the Corolla and I think I prefer it over the Echo...although they are very similar. The Corolla is supposed to make 40 miles to the gallon.

umm hmmm.. and you could afford name brand food but you 'prefer' the generic ketchup.

open another pabst, trailer park denizen, and get to work on those galleries!!

abshard 01-25-2004 04:41 PM

Why not get a Toyota Prius 50+ mpg

PenisFace 01-25-2004 04:44 PM

We've got the echo hatch here in Canada, its not bad looking actually... I dont know if you've got the hatch in the states as well, but the sedan version is only the ugliest car to ever make it to production.

Danny Boy...I am an adult...and as an adult I eat what I choose to eat...I drink what ever beer I choose to drink...I buy what ever car I choose to buy...I live where ever I choose to live...and FYI I am not in the adult business...so I will leave making galleries for you to do. How are you doing with getting that condom pulled over your head...boy.

I don't like the description of the trasmission...for one thing.

GoGoBar 01-25-2004 05:04 PM

So let's see. You can afford to purchase a Bugatti Veyron but you choose to purchase a Toyota Echo? Where's that BS flag icon when you need it? :)

Dig, you know I love ya, but I find it ammusingly ironic that you compared another toyota to the toyota he wants :winkwink: j/k

webgurl 01-25-2004 05:04 PM

spend a bit more and go with a corolla :2 cents:

all though the new echo 4 - doors hatch is pretty cute

Yes, it's much better to need a big car to make up for your small penis than to get something which doesn't waste gas like there's no tomorrow. After all, compensation for your 4 inches is more important than the environment, right?

GoGoBar 01-25-2004 05:10 PM

I still can not understand why whenever someone is jealous of someone over a car the person immediately has a small dick.

Like anyone that lives in a big house must be bald!

Or anyone who owns a boat must be impotent!

Get over it, work hard, maybe one day you can have a small dick too!

skillfull 01-25-2004 05:11 PM

buy a corolla, not a echo
my stepmother have one
i dont like the feeling when you drive it
not a bad car, but the corolla is way better

I am not a car afficionado...so I have never heard of a Bugatti Veyron...and I do not know how much one costs...but I am satisfied that I can purchase any car on the market. I choose to buy a small econo car...for multiple reasons...thank you very much.

I am not very material minded...the most expensive toy I ever bought was a new Diesel Motor Home...which I sold a few months ago...since my travelling days are basically something in the past.

when you sold your new diesel home did you sell the trailer court lot that went with it HOSS?

Gogo, I'm just having fun, for some reason I can't resist giving Pathfinder here a raft of shit.

Punkworld, good luck with your referral sig :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

No...but I did sell the lot and building that I had it stored in...as a package deal. You are a very slow learner...aren't you Danny Boy?

that just gets funnier every time you say it. Even on the millionth time, it's still just. so. clever.

dig420 01-25-2004 05:59 PM

white socks, black shoes, pabst blue ribbon, a mobile home, an economy car and a back brace.

do you think Pathfinder would approve of your current direction, speedbump?

I'm starting to feel like a bully, this isn't fun anymore
:(

integrated 01-25-2004 06:01 PM

Get it right...white socks...black Wellington boots...Budwieser...a modular (which I recently inherited)...and currently a 1988 Taurus (econo car which I bought new in '88 but is entering the "fix or repair daily" stage). PF was a frugal man...and taught me the value of a dollar...so the answer is yes...I think so.

Nancy boys cannot be a "bully"...they are...well...just Nancy boys.

So let's see. You can blow a million bucks on a car (cash!) but you still drive a 16 year old piece of shit that needs to be repaired daily. How fucking hilarious. I really need to dig up that icon.

edit: my math skills are off, make that 16 year old :)

puresexnow 01-25-2004 07:04 PM

Echo's are great cars for what they are.

A little small and underpowered, but the fuel economy is good.

However, if you can afford any car on the market, why are worrying about fuel? Just get something with decent room/power that doesn't look like a squashed walnut.

qwe 01-25-2004 07:35 PM

just say you broke and need a fucking echo, why all this bullshit "i can by a fucking ferrari enzo but i'll stick with echo"

listen to yourself, you make no sence...

You are correct...except that my '88 Taurus is not exactly a "piece of shit"...as it is practically like new inside and out...and has less than 80,000 miles on it...and it has only been in the past month that I have had to do any repairs...but it is probably an indication of things to come...thus I am "considering" buying a new car.

I am not worried about the 'cost" of fuel...but there are other concerns. I try to do my fair share as a caretaker of this world...when it is not to inconvenient (I even recycle)...silly of me isn't it? In addition...since there are speed limits in the US...a small econo car will take me from point A to point B just as fast as an expensive gas guzzling car. On top of that if I blew my savings/investments on expensive material things...in which I have little interest...I would not have a savings/investments for long. I am retired...I am 45...I hope to live for another 30 years...and I am currently financially sound and will not have any money concerns for the remainder of my life and I intend to keep it that way...thank you very much.

Someone turned off your pilot light...didn't they?

shermo 01-25-2004 09:15 PM

Weren't you looking for a truck yesterday?

Good luck man.. You're a smart guy getting an economical car. Some people aren't into material showmanship and others are. If we could all be as humble as you, maybe we'd all have even bigger houses, and goat testicle toilet paper!

Let us know what you get and how it worked out for you. :thumbsup
