Some of you are taking this way too seriously. The first thing you learn, or should learn, in sales, is that people aren't always nice and that a no is just another step closer to a yes. Personally I'd rather someone get it over with quickly if they aren't interested, my time is too valuable to waste on people that won't be doing business with me.

Just my thoughts.

I do agree, but it's still more polite, and professional to say "no thank you." and then be gone.... to say what was said is one thing, to come here right away and post the conversation and try to really hurt the person even more... well, that's just mean.

Doesn't affect how I view the noob... it affects how I view the person who was rude in the first place.

I keep getting spam for these radio shows from people I've never talked to before. People that have never had the common courtesy to say "hi, how are you today?" What kind of response should I give them? I could say "no, leave me alone", but I'm sure thats considered rude. Though, I consider mass spam extremely rude.

Speaking for Crissy or for me? True, the noob shouldn't take it personally, that still doesn't affect how I will view the person who was unjustly rude and out to insult the person even further by posting it.

I certainly don't take it personally either, I just like to know who is and who isn't professional in the business, before i do business with them.
