I haven't had a smoke for about 5 years... The first few weeks suck nuts. It does get easier. I wouldn't dream of smoking one now... although I do smoke a cigar every few months.

I quit weed like 6 years ago. I can't believe I actualy smoked that trash :/

I just quit three days ago...it does suck!! I quit for a year and a half and for some stupid reason, I started back. WTF? The first month or two are the hardest:(

im with you.....quit four years ago and for some stupid reason started agian about a year ago....

then back up to at least a pack a day....sucked....
once the show was over (and paying 7 fucking bucks for a pack of smokes at the venetian) i swore them off again....

been 3 days now and i remember that the first few weeks were the toughest......

cheated yesterday by having a drag off one and i have to say...tasted like shit....

do enjoy a cigar once in awhile......drew estates, acids, naturals, ambrosia...ets....anyone who smokes these cigars knows they taste so much better than a regular cigar....

I like the ones from that little island off the coast of Florida... :) I smoke maybe 3 a year. I make them count.

June 4th 2003 was my last inhale.

I gained 20 lbs or so....but I look at it this way....


The weight can easily come off....getting rid of cancer is a lot harder :)

I quit smoking 1 week ago today ( wens). Last smoke was before I got on the plane to head back from Vegas. I have made it a week so far. I have smoked a cigar every other day to ease the pain and it has really helped.

this happened to me the first 2-3 times i tried to stop and it lasted a maximum of 6 mnths.

I now realized that i love to smoke lol...id smoke for any reason possible hehe....but at my rate in the end its gonna kill me so i have no choice but to stop

I too paid 7 fucking dollars at the Venetian for a brand I didn't even smoke. That tells you something...they say cigs are worse than heroin (to quit).

and I will never smoke again.. I smoke for 25 years!
I had my son's birthday back then april and I asked him what he wanted for his 4th birthday he told me that he wished I'd quit smoking? and he wanted a new bike etc..
I was shocked at this coming out of his mouth from a 4 year old.
and I thought my wife put him up to this! no it was from him.
I think it hits home to anyone when there children speak out..
I remember my Dad sufferiing with lung cancer he died quickly
but pretty painful and a fairly young age of 63..
the man was 6ft 3 and his weight dropped from 285 to 155 pounds he looked like a toothpick! I didn't want to check out like that!
fuck that. they say cancer runs in your genes? well I'm not trying them on!.. he.he. hats off to anyone that quits the evil sticks..

and man do people stink from that smoke man! I sure notice it!

here's a example; I worked at this retirement home handyman when I was in highschool.. the smokers were carry around air tanks they were fat outta shape weezing complaining retards!

the non-smokers were calling up cabs to take them to the gulf courses! lawn bowling etc..they were mostly fit looking well dressed over all groomed better and much more active and cheerful.. "this sounds like just another speach?"

me either I can't seem to remember what I am supposed to be doing from one minute to the next - if I manage to get this stuff done before midnight I'll be fucking amazed. It's a series of "oh yeah that's what I was doing" !!!

Here's a tip I found to keep focused. Talk to yourself. Seriously. Talk about what you are doing.

I almost feel as tho there is nothing to look forward to anymore. Like I would look forward to a smoke after going out for a drive. Look forward to a smoke when I sit down to get work done. I reach over.. nothing is there to smoke :(
