Work at home? Do you bother to get dressed?
 

What do you wear, do you feel getting up and getting fully dressed helps you be more productive or do you sit around in some pajamas? I personally think I just throw on some shorts and a t-shirt most of the time. Ladies feel free to post a pic of yourself in your home working attire (you know I had to throw that in for the fellas).

got up and dressed every morning when working from the house. recently got an office outside the house. get WAY more done that way

I work from home, but desperately wanted to get an office outside the confines of home, until my gf started in school. Now I get up in the morning, get dressed, we have breakfast together and then I work all day (and night sometimes hehe). But, when she didn't go to school or her job, we didn't get up until late and the day just felt like wasted.

So, when her school stops, I will definitely get an office somewhere!

Get dressed and all.. fucking hard to get started... been tryin to settle into work for the past 10 hours.. LOL

anyone have any suggestions to get my lazy ass workin?

During the summer nothing but a pair of boxer shorts.

During the winter I wear my "winter" clothes...boxer shorts and a t-shirt.

Nothings better than shorts and T-shirt. Very comfy :thumbsup

blue singlet, and some stubbie shorts always do the job, and in winter i wear a flano. and as for foot wear.good ol' thongs

Sometimes I don't. Most of the time I try to, but spend the first hour after waking up checking e-mail, stats, and working a little.

If Im already motivated to do stuff and have things on my agenda it doesnt matter much what I wear, but otherwise I dont mind getting dressed in jeans and a shirt to sorta get the ball rolling.

When I had my office on the top floor of the house, I almost
never dressed and I found that I wasn't getting enough done.

I moved my office down to the basement (where the server rack
and studio are) and now I get alot more done in a day.

I can't see the point in dragging my ass out to a rented office
until I have more than 2 onsite employees.

You get that too? Sometimes I'll be jacking off and then I look around and the dog is just sitting there staring at me, it weirds me out. I tell him not to and he stops, but then when I look back again he's staring at me again.

We require management and staff to wear clothing. We tried naked fridays and no work got done.


Oh, and Friday is Hawaiian Shirt day. So if you have a Hawaiian shirt, you can go ahead and wear it.

Oh fuck I hated nothing more when I was in the corp world when my pansy ass pussy fucking boss would tell everyone hey wear a hawaiian shirt this friday it will be fun! I never met the office biz casual dress code, but I knew more than all the other employees so I could usually get away with wearing some nikes, dickies and a football jersey but fuck it pissed that pussy off.

I wake up at 5.30am est each morning with the Mrs.

Get showered, have coffee and breakfast and on my boxes here in the office located in my house normally by 7am or so.

Always have to get dressed since there are always some errands I have to do mid day or take the dog out for a walk.

Colder months - Jeans, tshirt, sweatshirt, nice slippers for inside the house.

Warmer months - cargo shorts, tshirt, sandals

If I have meet a corporate client, then its a suit and wingtips. That happens about 3x a month.

Weekends - sweats all the way

I have to drive the children to school so I get dressed every morning. Otherwise I think I'd stay in pijamas for ever

I have been known to spend the whole day in my jammies, sweats, tshirt, etc. :thumbsup Heck, I've even driven to the bank and the PO in my jammies. One of these days my car's going to break down and I'm going to feel awfully foolish. :)

I'm all about the sweats. I drive the kids to school in the morning, pick up a huge coffee, then get down to business. I'm more productive when I'm comfy (of course the caffeine doesn't hurt either). :thumbsup

Dress to impress maing.

I drive my wife to work at 7:30am 5 days a week - because she can't drive standard (for those of you in the UK, that's a car with a regular gear stick) and I got sick of driving an automatic POS. So I generally get home and settled in to work from anywhere between 7:45am-8:00am until I finish...which some days is 5pm and others is 1:00am the next morning, depending on if I'm involved in something I feel a burning need to get finished in one sitting.

I've had to work long hours to learn this business since I switched to the adult industry and I'm not 100% there yet, but I suspect as I get more in tune with what goes on, I will be able to cut my hours back to a reasonable 8-10 hour day.

I always dress to impress - because you never know who you're going to meet when you step outside your front door. It could be Donald Trump waiting to hire you as his next executive director for $5m a year. You don't think he'd hire you if he saw you dressed like a bum do you?

I get shit done naked or clothed. However I'm often in a robe to avoid the cool feeling of leather against my ass :1orglaugh Of course Im always naked for client visits . . .

jeans and a t-shirt here, sometimes I will just have my boxers on if iam feeling particularly lazy, but feel like I get more done when showered and dressed.

We just ditched our office. All working from home now. Until now I have been working and not getting dressed. I bought loungewear trouser to put on when working. Now tho I go to the gym in the morning before working so I come home all sweaty and smelly so I have a shower and get dressed :)

sometimes i get dressed. sometimes i don't. really depends on what i feel like when i get up and if i have any clean clothes. lol
