Thanks, his name is Luka. I had to remove the magnets and iron parts from the cat door to make it easier to open. Now he uses it without problems :)

LOL is it really that bad? I paid 15 Euro for it! It will look much nicer once I got some lights and decoration (I hope).

No worries. He probably won't last too long.

Sarah_Jayne 12-19-2003 03:30 AM

I did think of Charlie Brown at first too ;) That is okay though because that was a tree with character.

Watch out for the kitty though because you can just tell he will be attempting to climb it.

interesting how a christmas tree in europe and the US is kinda of different. That one looks like a bush.

Love the cat, My cat is Orange too. You can't go wrong with an orange cat:)

I'll keep an eye on the little tiger. So far he has only been sniffing it (photo).

Our Xmas tree. Its 9 Feet tall, all the decorations on it are 1940's 1950's originals that we have collected over the last few years. Had to use modern lights since the old ones kept shorting out.

reynold 12-19-2003 06:49 AM

Nice tree.

I was somewhat expecting somebody to post a picture of a marijuana shrbu with ornaments.

Wow that sure is a beautiful tree! The vintage decorations give it style...I bet it was a lot of work.

I was thinking the same thing. Do you have kids? If so, you better cordon the tree off :winkwink:

I don't have kids so I didn't buy a big tree or lots of decoration, otherwise I would have of course. For kids it's probably the best time of the year.

radical 12-19-2003 08:23 AM

Nice trees :thumbsup

Its all in how you teach the kids, ours is 11 and she helps put stuff on there and nothing gets broken. The decorations I get for almost nothing from garage sales / flea markets all year.

I do have a custom stand for it that I made for $5.00 that is the best stand ever I think for moving a tree with no decorateion on it yet. Check this out.

Clean 5 gallon bucket
Clean 50 LB bag of small gravel

Fill the 5 gallon bucket about 1/4 of the way up with gravel, toss the tree in, then fill up the rest to about 1-2 inches from the top with gravel.

Add water and you can move the tree all over to the get the best angles.

100% Hydroponic tree, only have to water it every 2-3 days since it holds about a gallon or so of water in the bucket.

The tree is that pic cost me $40 here in Philly.

We have a new kitten so we decided not to put a tree up this year... had too many bad experiences with our last three cats when they were young.
