Help Me Pick Some 22 Inch Rims for My Navigator.

Help me pick some sweet rims for my Navigator.
Im gunna get em tomorrow for sure now.
Here is the shop.

http://www.lesschwab.com/wheels/whee...l_brochure.asp

Ive already put in an order for the
ARELLI TYPE 845
JOVAN

Does that litte star in the middle look too cheezy? Mexican lowrider style? OR is it ok??

GFY member ZTIK says they look nice but has also suggested the

MHT-Kaotik type 678 Z6

What do you think?

boneprone 12-08-2003 12:55 AM

I spent all weekend looking at rims.
Shit... After seeing so many they all start to look alike after a while.

But at 22 inches every little detail is magnified and emphasized so I have to be careful..

And they arent cheap...

I have a basic idea what I like, but they all look SOOOOO different when held up next to the car it is crazy.

Pornwolf 12-08-2003 12:56 AM

Good choice Bone.:thumbsup

Spunky 12-08-2003 12:57 AM

I like the ADR type 99 spades :glugglug

boneprone 12-08-2003 12:58 AM

Like I said Im getting rims put on tomorrow for sure.

Ill post the pics of the results. Already put in an order for the Jovan's but still not sure..

Wondering if any of you guys had some insite.

Here in Portland we dont have too many nice rides with 22's on em, so its hard to really see rides with rims that really catch your eye and appeal to what you've been looking for.
There just arent many out here to get an idea from..

Some of you LA people may have a better eye or opinion on this..

boneprone 12-08-2003 12:58 AM

Neriah Davis contacted me a few weeks ago and told me they got some 24's on thier ride.

She's in LA.

Ill see what she says.

boneprone 12-08-2003 01:00 AM

Ive got 18 inch MOMO's on there now.
They are pretty sweet, but I want something bigger.

I know the large rims make the ride harder with the bumps and all, but they just look so sweet..

Its like a babe in heels.. The higher the heel the better they look.
They may feel like shit wearing em, but damn they look hot.

You should get all goldcaps for your teeth to go with the extra wide rims. Its all about bling bling and respect ya know! Werd!

Nice wheel.
However that wouldnt look too good as a 22 inch.

The spaces are so wide. A great wheel for my Corvette, but not for a Navagator with such huge size.

That wheel is more for a car, not a rig.

Also, looking at the specs on the site, the biggest they make that one is in a 18 inch..

I'm not sure how much snow you get in Portland but if it's a noce amount you might wanna stick to 20" s

The snow wreaks havoc on large rims.

Why 12-08-2003 01:09 AM

i like the ADR Type5 Cyphers, but i would get something that looks like them but has the dual spoke thing. where each spoke is two that are side by side. like the type 29.

what color is the navigator? if its white, i would get white rims, otherwise i would go crome or gunmetal.

Yeah no snow here...

If it does get bad, I can always just put the 18's back on for the winters.

boneprone 12-08-2003 01:10 AM

22's too big?
YOu think 20's may look nicer??
they are about half the price it seems!

PenisFace 12-08-2003 01:10 AM

22's? beh, go all out and get 26's :thumbsup

SlutFinder 12-08-2003 01:11 AM

Those wheels are all below 19 inch.

Those are horrible on a Navigator bro, you want as much wheel as possible when you're riding on a big body.

Go Alba 703 Karma

boneprone 12-08-2003 01:13 AM

Ill get those ADR's for the Vette.

Sorry to invade in your thread, but Pornwolf. you never answered my last question in the hooker thread. I'm very curious about what you have to say and I've been looking for you. Pls do a search for it and answer. Thanks

Neriah Davis 12-08-2003 01:16 AM

Sorry dude!
We decided to keep them....I have a great hookup though...www.kmcwheels.com. Look at the new style and then the ACE 24's...that's them babies!

I see your point.
That "empty" space issue.

When they are this big of a rim, those spaces in the rim are huge!!

But i dont think they are too big in the ones ive pointed out..

But the Alba 703 Karma is nice!

boneprone 12-08-2003 01:19 AM

Digipimp,

how bout the MHT Foose??

Nah but the Weld 468 is the way to go. Big rims on big bodies that's the only way to do it, none of the space in there.

:thumbsup

Small space on a big body and big space on a small body, those are the rules of the game bro. Now critique my gallery for me and list it on your site and send my confirmation through tonight.
