Kaho'olawe returned to Hawai'i
 

not like anyone here gives a shit, but the military finally returned the island of Kaho'olawe back to Hawai'i nei. It's pretty much destroyed, despite all their billion$ worth of cleanup efforts, but at least it's back in Maui County and the Navy is finally out.

Where is the Island located?

Too bad it doesn't get any rain, or it would be a nice spot.

directly behind Molokini, 5 miles off the shore straight out from my house. I can see it from here.

Now if only the US Government returned Hawaii to the Kingdom of Hawai'i, everything would be right again. :glugglug

Does anyone live out there or will it just beome a national park? Looks like a nice place either way

it's completely uninhabited. Likely will remain that way.

the crews have been cleaning it up for 4 or 5 years now, but there's still tons of it all over..... will be for a long time.
