Actually for me I guess it may be more by choice. After my divorce, my (then 12 or 13 year old) son got all 'man of the house' on me. Also it seems like all the men I've run into get way too comfortable in me paying for things. I need a Microsoft millionaire or at least someone who has a bit left over after they pay the bills each month just cause it's not nice to make PK feel used and taken for granted.

So really I guess I gave up looking.

Are you involved in any business associations - at least you'll make acquaintances with people who are in business or have higher paying jobs, who knows maybe your 'Knight in shining armour' is within that group.

I've only met a handful of people in this biz and most of them are either married or with someone already ;)

I was thinking more like business associations in your city - the ones used for networking/marketing, keeping you up-to-date on laws, systems & trends. The men there would be from a vast variety of businesses + alot of bankers like to attend those types of meetings for prospecting new clients.
