Do people build freesites lately?
 

Hello!
First when i started i always did tgp's, some sites expanded some died, but it was boring, everyday the same things review galleries, check trades, add trades watch your trade stats 26532832 times a day. I wanted something new so I stepped in the world of freesites, I made a bunch (30) and submitted them to 150 ll's made a couple of sales of it and it seems to work out very well, you get little traffic but much signups:D

Now who of you makes and submits freesites as primary doing, and how many traffic do you get to each? And all together:D

Cant hurt to diversify you sites and business

good question Im curious to see what people's experiences have been... If you're looking to make a lot of money sexpromote.com is the way to go. Free trials and 35 per join... hard to resist signing up and really hard to not promote the site because you do so well...

Freesite conversion kick ass if you do it right.

The "something coming soon...." i'm working on will have a nice searchable freesite listing section. Still a few months away though :(

I see that not many people are building and submitting them (or are not saying they do) It is very profitable maybe thats the reason you hear almost no one about it?
Or are the most webamsters here tgp freaks or something?

i concur freesites sucks and is a waste of time you'll be better off starting a TGP:glugglug

I have some free sites and they all convert their traffic very well.... They are my biggest font of income...

And avs? Never tried that before, pretty stupid because with a free site you almost have an avs site:P But I wanted to try one thing at a time, what's better a free site or an avs site? Or build just both and submit them to every site you know.
I even saw plans on the internet that you could make from 30 pics 1 free sites 1 avs site and 2 galleries, that's what I call to do good things with your content and maximize your profit:)

I'm building a triple triple triple at the moment, I first tried a triple then a triple triple it worked out very very well, only the toplists part seems to work not so well I always sent in very little traffic while traffic is floating like water on my freesites, someone have experience about a ttt and want to share tips etc?

But TGP2 is still my favorite. So many sales, so little traffic. :thumbsup

really? Thought that no one uses tgp2 and it never was a succes, I mean if people get 15~20 pic gals why should they visit your tgp2 with only 5 pics on html pages with even more ads?

Free sites do well for me alot easier to convert a sale :thumbsup

free sites are definatly the way.... script tgp traffic is the worste there is.... but all traffic is good traffic if you work it right

I make TGP2 galleries when I have the time. I submit one place only, the TGP2 gallery pool. Almost every gallery I submit there is good for a sale or two within a month, and I get occasional sales even several months later. Plus, with low bandwidth and more relaxed rules and the fact that it only takes a few minutes to do a gallery, I find it's well worth the time and effort.

TGP2 gets alot of traffic from search engines. New, fresh surfers that haven't seen a regular TGP yet. They rarely trade with regular TGPs because they try to keep as much of the newbie traffic as possible within the TGP2 system and away from TGP. That's why traffic is so low. But it's quality. I'd rather have 10 productive hits that make me money that 10,000 hits that cost me bandwidth and just leech. :thumbsup

yes and no. TGP2 Stats would probably be one of the closest approximations to what your looking for.

on the subject of "why" TGP2 is a good selling tool --it's just that: TGP2 allows a webmaster to try and actually "sell" a product. your allowed to use banners and text links. full size pics on HTML pages ( for the most part ) with more sales "materials" ( banners, text links, etc. ) on the pages. not just a thumbnail leading to a full size pic.

depending on the type of free site or AVS site your making, if it's a smallish 10 to 15 pic site: look at a TGP2 gallery as 1/2 to 1/3 of those sites. or the other way --a 15 pic free/AVS site is 3 TGP2 galleries. it's all about using your resources to your full advantage.

Only one site that receives more then 1k hits a day? Damn thats low traffic :D Is it even at that low rate easy to make profit?

bingo...make the most of your content. Who said it can only be used for an avs OR a free site OR a bunch of tgp galleries. You make a bunch of galleries, string them together and ytou have a free site, then smack an avs script on the free site and you have an avs site. Three types of sites for one bit of work. Work smart, not hard.

TGP2 was never about having a number 1 SexTracker listing. it was about less free porn and more advertising potential.

course.. I have a script that autogenerates em on the server.. so I just pick a niche, and blast out a hundred or so in sub's of my domains...

BTW... properly done.. a free site is ALSO a couple galleries.. why waste or duplicate efforts??

Free & AVS sites are definitely the way to go.

The best part is that once you have several hundred or thousand all linked up properly they keep getting traffic even when you're away. You can go on vacation for 2 weeks and those sites keep making sales.

If you're a tgp gallery builder on the other hand the second you stop building you'll loose traffic within a few days.

I like to think long term :-)

You can make more money with 1000 hits to a free site than 100,000 hits to a tgp gallery.

That's assuming:

1. The freesite is listed on the major linklists. (link-o-rama, richards, hoes.com, penisbot, megapornlinks, jk-porn)

2. The freesite was picked up by google and assigned PR (which will happen a month after a listing by the above linklists)

3. You've properly built the freesite for optimal conversion. See this thread for more info:

4. You understand that freesites get sustained smaller amounts of traffic over time as compared to a typical one time windfall to most TGP galleries.

5. You have patience and understand that good things come to those that work hard, play the game and keep building.


Build those freesites! And, yes, after you've built your freesite, cut it up and use the two galleries you've build to submit to the tgps... it's all about recycling and minimizing extra effort for maximum gain!
