Fuck this........... bad situation
 

About two years ago i got myself into trouble.
My sisters boyfriend beat her up real good on a saturday evening. She went to my house crying, her face was all swollen so i took her to the hospital. The guy i'm talking about is like really tall, 8 years kick-box......... you know, that kind of guy. To be honest, nothing i could even come close to.
I was mad, i mean REALLY mad and asked her where he was. He was in a local club around here so i took my car and headed overthere. Just when i arrived i saw him crossing the street. Man, my blood just started to boil and i totally lost control. I stepped on the gass and WHAM....... there he went, on the hood of my car, i took a left turn and he rolled off. He staid down and the ambulance had to pick him up.
He was in bad shape, broken bones, head fracture. I spend 2 nights in jail and then was released.
Now i'm stuck with a 28k$ law suit. I have done all i can but i got a huge bill to pay........ 28 fucking thousands for a fucking moron who likes to beat up girls.
I guess that's it for me, just recieved the call from my lawyer. I did some calculating, i think i might have to sell everything i worked for.
What a fucking bad day this is, first paypal gives me a "randomly" picked frozen account and now this........ i'm pretty much fucked. And i mean FUCKED.

story seems to be kind of bs. Only two days in jail for running someone over and almost killing them? (not that I have a problem with it. I would have done the same, just not gotten caught).

What is the 28k for, a fine?, a lost civil suit?, just the lawyers fees?

Only two days yes and then released. They didn't really consider me a danger for humanity, more a moment of mental madness (wich it was). Gotto take in account that he was already arrested for beating her up a few times. This wasn't a first thing.
fine + lawyers comes around $28k, little less actaully, almost $28k.

the whole idea of a hit and run is you hit them, and get the hell outa there.

I actually staid there untill the police and ambulance arrived. Ambulance took him away and police took me away (obviously)

I think you got off lucky.

The guy that did a hit n run on me has already cost me & my insurance company over $50k and I lost the use of my left leg for several months. And he WILL be going to prison because hit n run with injuries is a felony in Nevada. And since he was driving a uhaul truck, I have a nice lawsuit against them and I'm sure they are going to sue him nicely for whatever they have to pay me. I'd hate to be that fucking idiot.

As much as I hate saying this, you need to do the "American thing" and sue his ass back. Your sister doesn't have any medical bills from being abused? No emotional distress? She can't press charges for what he did to her?

Fuck you bro.......... outhere things work much different then where you are at. Outhere they give you 10 years for murder....... meaning about 3 yeras in jail and the rest out on parole. Jails are over populated here so they only put you there when they consider you "a danger to humanity" wich i'm not.

We did actually...... his history and other stuff came to surface that way. Without the counter sue the fine would have been much higher i think.

Heh, i staid at the scene because i felt kinda bad running him over. It is not something you do and are proude off. It's just a moment of insanity. If you knew him, you would understand me though. He's the kind of person that can knock you out in like 1 swing with his arm. He raises way above your head and has a long reputation of getting into fights. He has a few years of almost every fighting sport i know, etc... well, you know what i mean.
You don't just stop people like that by talking with them...... been there, done that.
