Some pics of my bar....renovation is almost complete :-)
 

Wednesday is the "Grand Opening" and Saturday we'll throw
a party in my new bar..... "420 beach" here are some pics of
how it looks now....now it only fails the finishing touches like
some small palm trees and stuff.....

It turned out to be more a lounge style bar than a beach bar
when I was done painting and put the furniture in for some
reason it looked better without surfboards on the walls than
with......

There is still some little stuff todo the cushions of 2 of the sofas
are not there yet....some nice standing lamp and some palm
trees are missing....I'll post the final result pics when it's all done.
We renovated the place in 4 days (2 persons) to what it is now.
Both of us never painted a wall before.....we had loads of fun
and the result is better than we hoped for......it has a very nice
and relaxed atmosphere I think.....oh well you guys have to come
down and see for yourself.....booze is on me:glugglug .....and for the ones
who like to smoke.....we'll throw that in aswell:stoned

Real good improvement . The old bar looked ghetto . I've seen way classier lounges but this isn't bad for a bar of this size. How many places inside arround 100 ?

Yeah 100 persons is a nice crowd for this bar....it's my first bar.
We were going for a relaxed place....it's not supposed to be too
classy....as there are not too many classy people here.....we're
not classy either lol.

We'll first see how this goes...If I want I can buy the neighbours
place aswell which is now a restaurant. I have to tear down 1
wall to get the place ready for at least 500 people....that place
has a very nice layout....so if we see this goes well....I might step
into that adventure aswell

If I do...then we'll go a bit classier....I'm thinking sushi/sashimi
bar inside aswell, some private dens with all matching furniture
and a good lounge DJ, etc, etc.....but first I want to see if I can
make this work......after all I've never owned a bar before

It looks really nice D-M! Laid back and should attract a gentile crowd. :) My brother has owned bars for years and he thinks you need those stools closer together (more of them) so as the people don't have to shout to one another as they get a little more under the influence(which they will to be heard) You'll want the atmosphere to stay more quiet.

Love the color scheme etc that you picked out and I hope you do very well! If we'd happen to ever be over there, we'll stop in for sure! Don't forget to have an impromptu pole for the occasional girl dancer! ;-)

Thanks, I will be moving....I'll probably go for the 2 months
Bahamas and 1 month Europe schedule lol.....also because we
get a son....it's nice for the family if we come over regularly.
