Nope, Paul Allen's boat is in Victoria now. They showed it on the news the other day. It's gotta be twice the size of that one too...

I agree, it's much too shabby looking to be someones personal ship. It's just a big dance-hall on the water type of thing.

The Tatoosh is the 9th largest privately owned boat/ship in the world at 301'8". It can carry 2 helicopters, a 40' speedboat, and a sailboat and has a good size pool onboard. Cost him around $100mil. It was owned for less than a year by Keith McCaw (McCaw Cellular..another big NW name).

Gates doesn't bother with boats. Even though he lives on Lake Washington here in Seattle, he only has a 'smaller' sized runabout type boat for guests to use.

Hehe made it back last month :) Stopped in mtl for 4 days, then left and were in Vic 3.5days later!!

The biggest yacht in the world is owned by Paul Allen its called Octopus L: 413'4"

Does anyone know if thats the one that was here in Vancouver or was he using another one of his? When I saw it, there was actually a float plane being towed behind it as well as a couple of helicopters on it I believe.

I can see Coal Harbour from my condo - there are 2 big yachts down there all the time - Nova Spirit owned by jim pattison and some other one called 'Eliminator' or something that has a helicopter on it all the time.

The Tatoosh was here in Vancouver a while ago, moored over on the other side of the cruise ship terminal (not the Coal Harbour side).
It's in Victoria harbour now I believe...
