Hey everybody ? some of you guys might be wondering where I?ve been the last couple of weeks. The sad truth is that I?ve been in jail from August 11 ? September 4th for a picture / story on one of my websites that offended the sensibilities of the redneck ?powers that be? in this stupid redneck town that has me on probation. Seeing as this shit is still in court, I?m going to have to cut you short on the details. As soon as I can speak about this shit, I will be glad to share the whole story with everyone ? because it is really fucked up as hell. Someday, I?ll be able to laugh about it.

Have you looked into filing a lawsuit against the state for the lack of medical attention? I would think forcing you to run and work everyday with a broken foot and no medical attention is cruel and unusual punishment.

One thing that always works is contacting your city's "investigative reporter" from the biggest news station - every big city has one. Explain your story to him, put him to work - going public and shining a light on things has a tendency to clean up shit real fast.

I felt the need to add to my post. Anyone who knows Jay, knows that he is a stand up guy and a true bro. Any of you with the "If you weren't doing something wrong, nothing would have happned to you" attitude have obviously led a very safe and sheltered life. Pisses me off becuase any one of you could have just as easliy found yourself in the same position. South Georgia is not goverened by the same social contract that the rest of the country enjoys. No matter what you say, Jay's treatment was in no way by any stretch of your limited imaginations approporiate, fair or even humane. We treat prisoners of war, animals, even insects better than Jay was treated. I'm sure even Jay wouldn't wish that experience on you or any of your friends or family members, but in fact you attitudes scream how badly you deserve it, if for nothing else to gain some perspective. Any of the GFY'ers who are black or have close ties to the black community almost certainly understand completely what Jay, his freinds and family have had to endure.

The real losers in all of this are the people who have no compassion, or sympathy for others in these types of situation.

So MetaMan, the real truth is it sucks to be you.
