Who would attend an Adult Expo in Australia?
 

A good friend of mine (Resolute) suggested that we consider hosting an Adult Expo here in Australia

Can you imagine doing a show down under, and be able to not only network with your peers, but also:

- Dive the great barier reef

- Scale the Sydney Harbor Bridge

- Go outback with the Kangaroos and Koala's

- Cruise the Red Light District of Kings Cross

- or experience any of the other great things our country has to offer?

And our currency is so fucked, it costs stuff all to really enjoy yourself

So c/mon people. Who here would come to an expo like this?

That sounds like a kick ass idea. We have been asked to do the same thing in Oz and had a great response when we posted about it on many boards a few months ago.

I've also thought about setting up an event here.. Theres a hell of a lot involved though. I hope someone gets around to doing it soon.

I would LOVE to come over there and check out that part of the world. It has been something I have put on the back burner for some time now but hell if I can travel over there and it's tax deductible all the better! Lets go! :winkwink:

I would definitely have an interest but the long flight would be a deterring factor. Anything more than 6 hours on a plane and I get really irritated.

Sexpo is Australia wide in around 5-6 major cities. B2C but there are one or two contacts to be made there. I might exhibit in melbourne still deciding.

If I did host an Australian Expo for the INdustry (and not just a Sexpo - which is pretty cool btw), what would be the nest month to do it in (as to not clash with any other major events etc)

EvilDan....sounds like a fantastic idea -- but, I agree that it will probably end up being much more of an Island Gathering type of affair. Nonetheless....it would give a good number of people a great excuse to see Australia :)

wow a trip down under? My mom lives in Hawaii, I can tell her while I'm on my way that I jumped out of the plane and ended up in Sydney. LOL

Well wired guy, sweetems has offered to sit with you on a plane for 16 hours. you cant pass that up - can you? You know you will be a mile high in the sky btw - lol

I once sat in a plane from LAX to Sydney next to Resolute, and I can assure you that I would have far preferred to sit next to a sexy and intelligent woman than that old queen :1orglaugh

And take my advice sweetums, you dont need Valium - do business or first class and stay drunk the entire way - that always works for me

Why go to the provinces, when the provincials will come to Rome?

I'd come.. and spend a couple weeks down there as well, shoot a few Aussie models for some quality diverisification of my content. Who ever said American porn wasn't cosmopolitan? :D

I recomend
Sydney / Gold Coast / Barrier Reef Island / Cairns.

It just have to be on the Goldcoast I think Sydney would be the only other option. Goldcoast has the right things for a convention like this would be ,plus its cheaper than dirt right now.
And yes I would probably go.

we've been approached to do a show liek this already and have already begun doing all our homework re: venues etc etc

We too thought Sydney was the best place, as the convention center there would be a great venue and its close to everything.
