Why the seperation of religions...

Somehow Christians, Jews, Catholics (Yes seperate from Protestants) and Hindus aren't violent?

Religion's dumb. I went to church with my mom a few months ago and the pastor was saying that it's our duty to go to the middle east to give the land back to god's chosen people.

Now this is the same church that believes that since jews didn't accept christ, they will all burn in hell for eternity.

So god hates them enough to put them through an eternity of the worst pain imaginable but because they're his chosen people we should go over there and protect them?

OK show me a page online with Jews or Catholics doing that kind of stuff.

Not saying other religions aren't fucked up too, but Muslims are the most extreme of anything I've seen.

I see a lot of those videos and pictures and can usually stomach it but watching that guys finger get cut off really was disturbing for some reason. Imagine being him. Are we dicussing the middle ages or now? I think the main problem with the muslim religion at the moment, is that it is one of the few religions that takes hold of it's members so completely as to make them live this life entirely for the sake of the next and I thing that is a dangerous thing. The religous leaders in the middle east teach their followers to hate free societies by telling them blatant lies about them. While the people in free societies are able to make their own decisions. It is the cold war all over, except their is no berlin wall just God.

For the record I do have three Muslim friends, but they are more Americanized and don't agree with the direction the radical muslims are taking things.
