The South sucks for celebrities. |
Yes. Rockstars pay to hang out with me.

I got to eat dinner with a bunch of sports Hall of Famers all the time. Pretty cool to hear old stories. Sports were so different way back.

Oh yes, on a number of occassions.
Hell we even had an academy award nominee work for us as a receptionist for awhile...LOL No kidding. http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/person...+16154,00.html I worked in commercial production for 5 years out in LA, while during pre or post production I worked for a total of 4 different producers. One's latest accomplishment was T3. I'd say the coolest thing I ever got to do was when one of my employers got me hooked up to hang out on the set of The Doors. But I've met a ton of celebrities, has beens and wannabes. From top notch starts like Keanu Reeves, River Phoenix, to down and out sitcom actors. One of the more interesting phone conversations I ever held was with Frank Oz...nothing like speaking to a guy and hearing Ms. Piggy and Yoda on the other end of the line...LOL I've even met and worked with some of the more interesting hollywood types. Like Fritz Feld...a legendary character actor who has appeared in numerous films with some of the biggest stars of old hollywood. If you've ever watched an old 40's film he would always play the host who would take his hand and pop his mouth to call a waiter or someone. http://www.amctv.com/person/detail/0,,16-1-EST,00.html One of his latest films is a bit part in Barfly. He told me all kinds of stories about when he worked with Bogart etc. Also alot of people don't know this, but his wife was the Mrs. Olson coffee lady...LOL. edited to add: back when Bobby V was still managing the Rangers we used to eat at his resteraunt all the time. He got pretty chummy with us, would always sit down and talk with us about the rangers. Years later, a friend of my father's was best friends with Steve Buechelle who used to be a 3rd baseman for the rangers, and he mentioned us to Bobby V and he still remembered us...LOL |

Yes, when I worked in the advertising industry in England
|
When I was a concernt promoter, hung out with a few.
When I and a couple friends crashed a Golden Globes afterparty a couple years ago, we met quite a few, but hung out with Gary Busey. When I was a chef for the Coyote Cafe at the MGM Grand, we often catered Don King's press conferences and had a VIP dining area for celebrities. Jay Leno even filmed a bit in our kitchen. |
I seem to remember Gary Busey eating a shitload of Pringles at the Vancouver show a couple years back :1orglaugh

Anyone want o know the coolest of the celebs and the biggest dicks?
Or are people bored already with this thread? |
Don't forget lil2rich4u..he is a celeberity..
:glugglug |
just for shit's and giggles...
the top ten fun celebs I have hung out with include- Marilyn Manson Michael Madsen Jerry Garcia (RIP) George Clooney George Clinton Snoop Dogg Eddie George Wesley Snipes Jenna Jameson and number one believe this or not would be Robert Palmer- the singer he and I are buds from way back- |
Too many to name. In general, there's 2 types of celeb personalities.
Celeb 1 personality - Too good to talk to anyone, it's all about them. Celeb 2 personality - Totally down to earth, very friendly and sincere. You forget they're a celebrity after a few minutes of hangin' with them. Not too many fall in between. My favorite celeb is KBizzle. |

Forgot about John Entwhistle from the WHO as well..
as prophetic as this may sound when working in a music club in Clevland Oh I asked him if he wanted to get high and smoke some dank- He said " Hey mate I don't wanna get low man, I wanna get high" He then pulled an oz of coke from his leather jacket and threw it down- it was the first time I had ever seen cocaine- and I don't think I'll ever see that amount of cocaine ever again I hope I never do anyway- Now look at where he is... RIP Also D is right Ice T is a cool ass mofo as well. So is James Brown and his band- and Peter Fonda is A-OK! Billy Corgan is a dick Courtney Love is the nastiest bitch I have ever seen - ask DMONEY about that story... Pauly Shore is an ASSHOLE James Earl Jones didin't like me either- |
