DJ Evan was awesome for those who missed it.
Kind of sucked being set up outside, gettin' an hour of DJ Evan, then the rains poured as Too Short walked outside towards the stage. Straight out of a movie. The hotel wouldn't let us set up in the lobby, which could have saved a decent crowd since everyone gathered inside. The show must go on, and it did. Even though only a hundred people got to see it, it's worth moving inside. I said to Too Short right before he rapped, "in this biz, all it takes is for that one person to make you rich". Most performers don't have an adult website interest, he does, so that's the language you've got to speak. Then I told him, we'll have the footage for thousands to see, so it's not so bad having a small live audience. Actually, it added a new vibe for a Players Party. Small and exclusive. Imagine that? |
