Non Porn web enterprises...what's your other gig?

What goodies do you offer as a service on the web outside of porn?

Do you produce software, clothing, music etc.? What did being a pornmeister with skills have to do with your other enterprising success?

ROFL, I meant 'non-porn'...

Some webmasters I know have bands, restaurants, fashion design, car mechanics even planes.

Reason I'm asking is because often a guy has an alternate business that has real potential and we can network. I've had lots of fun networking with bands that needed t-shirt designs and animated promo.

Even theatrical makeup, one guy I met worked for a circus. That's gotta be fun. Lotsa travel, food and meeting people.

I still get royalties from cookbooks I've contributed to and am working on publishing a new cookbook as well as looking into making some small independent movies (T & A horror flicks and such).

Besides porn, i have 35 ink cartridge sites. I have 70 adult toy stores, and I am a 25% owner in a group of small grocery stores here in southern california.

Greg B 08-01-2003 04:15 PM

See, that's what I mean. There're some smart cookies on this site!

I have to go into real estate ( I'm awesome at it but couldn't deal with the headaches ).

This way by seeing what we all do we can network and break off something.

I'm in film as well and have 4 books optioned for film and am writing two more.

Weird business but fun to watch the suits go postal when you turn in a script with like 8 billion alien warriors attacking one another.

Oh, I work in comic books, novels, news, technology funding, monster hunting, stand up comedy too. Gotta move into real estate though as we've now got some new energy systems that make remote location estates independent of electric and oil companies. Will be brushing up on the architectural skills asap to handle all this.

Will do

I finally got my first reading the other day, I look at that as a big first step and if it gets optioned, maybe enough to finance my own little stuff.

I have a bunch of cheapie treatments and scripts I'm working on along with some more "artistic" and quality stuff.

Dude, I got a start outta high school many moons ago airbrushing vans and hot rods. I kick ass at airbrush but haven't done it in years. How's the biz nowadays? Y'know what, just for kicks I'm gonna go to the auto shop and see what new tools are out.

GIRL!!! YOUR PHOTOS ROCK!!!!! THEY ARE BRILLIANT!!!

Lemme tell you Mischief, I've worked with some of the world's top photogs over the years in news and your stuff ROCKS!!!

I will definitely be proppin' you ( hope that's the right expression ).

I'm a bird fan and am writing a book about birds and the pics of the Humming Birds are choice! I've got them in my yard and they disappeared from upstate NY and only recently returned.

The trick is to catch the Peregrine Falcons that perch upstate as well. Awesome birds!!!

I like the autumn scenes as well. I miss NY especially around autumn with all the Octoberfests etc. Apple dumplings, apple cider...mmmmm-mmm them's good eats!

Have you tried any of the nature mags? I'll put a word in for ya with some pals if you like.

i'm a wrench and pretty much run the administrative end... my partner does some awesome paint work though. and we've got a guy that's the best in the area that does airbrush for us when we need it. he's an old friend of my dad's... he's fucking off the chain.

s0laris2, you're a smart chap. Real estate is a sound investment. Most people don't realize how much loot can be made by just getting a property and fixing it up. Heck, you can snag something for $80k and just paint and mow the lawn and sell it for over $100k in a matter of weeks nowadays.

I'm not for renting though. Too much headache and time consuming. Yet if you can handle it more power to ya.

Shoulda done more real estate when I was younger for sure. Will be doing more now on.

Dude, please post some pics of his work. Ain't nothin' like some real good airbrushing. I don't care what anybody says a great airbrush job on metal, or any airbrushable surface stands out.

I do awesome freestyle that is rare unless you really know what you're doing.
