Yeah, I don't have a CC with me that would work. I must live with cash, I've withdrawn $1000 / day to live and shit... and I don't want to carry that much cash with me. I THOUGHT they'd be safe in my room. I didn't know there was a 'safe' in my room... now I know, but losing $1000 stings a lot, and I mean a lot.. since I don't have a CC.. ..oh, and I'm currently stuck in my room waiting for them to finish their 'investigation', so I can't go out to eat or do anything.. (not that I had the money anyways).

What can I do? Is the hotel liable for the money? If I can somehow prove I had them?
