I'd like to personally tell all of the people whining about lower payouts and begging for lists of sponsors who aren't making any changes to FUCK OFF!!

Don't you realize that the only reason those sponsors were able to pay you $35-40 per join was by ass fucking the surfer with a dick big enough to kill an elephant?
Charging $40-50 subscription fees, multiple pre-checked cross sales, console hell on every tour, not to mention spamming the living shit out of their member's emails to try and make a buck or two.

Stuff like this is the reason VISA is breathing down our necks and sponsors who continue to operate in this fashion just so they can win the biggest payout dick measuring contest won't be in business for very long I assure you.

werd, I joined 3 different sites this week all run by big players and 2 of them really sucked.

1 was an interracial site and I had to dig around in order to find any interracial movies, I couldn't believe it.

And I got hit with the small text pre-checked cross sales and I was pissed when I saw the charge on my credit card I didn't even know about.

The most fucked up part is that they actually believe some companies will just keep the payouts the same and make less money. Shave % and pay rate are relative, one way or another your paychecks are going to get smaller.

Don't expect that to happen overnight, it will take years.

I think they are all getting upset cuz people keep saying they will send their traffic elsewhere... :Graucho

Maybe instead of lowering rates they should improve the quality of their sites... is not really the webmasters fault but theirs... It looks to me like they are taking it on us...

No they don't, but they will feel the end result of them.
They join a site for 2.95, they don't like it and cancel.

Next month when the credit card statement comes in there's a charge for 2.95, and there's NOT $100 worth of charges for shit they didn't know about.

They'll be more likely to join another site or two after that....and with lower monthly membership fees the odds of them having two or more memberships simultaneously increases.

What's scary about that question is that you probably know from your own experience.......Mr I have to reboot to make your consoles stop popping :winkwink:

Rich, we're not all that dumb. Most of us know to test the sponsors, and stick with the one that sends us the biggest paycheck at the end of the week regardless of what their #'s say.

This will level the field for those smaller sponsors who have been running a tight ship since the ghetgo and can afford to keep up the payments. I know I'll be sending much more traffic to them.

The blame has to go somewhere. I saw some sponsor mention a big problem with chargebacks was the fraudulent webmasters. So, of course, they blame webmasters for CB ratios instead of acknowledging that their sites may just suck ass.

$55 per signup, $20 per signup.. whatever.. 1:20 ratios, 1:2000 ratio's..

IGNORE all that nonsense.

Try both, keep the one that actually pays you more at weeks end.

And who's fault is chargin them $100 dollars worth of fees? That's fraud on the sponsors part. Period. Just because they promise a webmaster a $35 signup doesn't justify raping the surfer to do it. Perhaps they should have been looking long and hard at other ways to sell the surfer to justify those numbers. So far the only excuse I've heard is "We never should have been paying that much in the first place" instead of using their damn skulls to come up with a feasable business solution.

The companies practices are especially becoming apparent as a few sponsors (you know who you are) have announced that it is business as usual in spite of the new regulations. I applaud you all.

The quality of the sites is only a small part of the equation.

What do you think they're taking out on you? Do you think you should get paid more for your traffic than its worth?

There was a time when a sign up was worth $35 easy..both the affiliate and the sponsor made a healthy profit with no cross sales and modest exit consoles.

Quality is not the reason retention is down....ARS has more content in their members areas now than they ever have, yet recurring is at an all time low.

Why? Competition.

If you're the only resturaunt in town, odds are the townspeople are going to eat at your place and eat there often.
But what if a new resturaunt opens up? Now they don't eat at your place every night, they get to try something new.
Now what if 1000 new resturaunts open up?

The consumer has so many choices he never has to eat in the same place twice.
The same is true of our business....there is so much more porn out there for the surfer to consume than there was 2 years ago its ridiculous.
They used to stay members of a site because there weren't many other options, now they have unlimited options so they spend a few days here and a few days there.

The problem with this and payouts is that as the value of a member dwindled, paysite owners knew that if they lowered payouts they'd lose their webmaster base, just like alot of webmasters are jumping ship now.
So they came up with other ways to squeeze revenue out of every click and watched their margins shrink month after month.....and that's what got us in the mess we're in.

Then they have autoselect membership marked as "Today's Special!" subscription to Date For Fun at a price of $0.00 for 4 days (trial) then $29.62 recurring every 30 days..

Not all Surfer will read this so no wonder way Silvercash have
high chargebackrate and need to lower the webmasters payout
per signup.
