I don't have popups on my paysites. The little extra that they bring in is just not worth the traffic you loose. Dump the trial membership and use full price only and you don't need the extra money from the popup.

Trials make surfers sign up because they can get in cheap rather than making them sign up because they are hooked by the content. Hooking then on the content makes them pay full price and they stay around longer.
