What does a TYPICAL Guy want in a woman for a long term relatonship?

I always hear people whinning about their lack of relationships.

no one seems to ever answer the big question "what do you want?" - think about it, if you can DEFINE what you want, as closly as possible, it's easier to find.

Like all guys I appreciate good looks, but looks last only a night or two. Long term relationships are about PERSONALITY and how you mesh with the other person.

it's not about the money. YES girls, we CAN tell when that's all it's about, well at least those of us with more then 2 iq points.

it IS about personality and interaction (and good sex doesn't hurt). - but a long term relationship based ONLY on sex will fail.

personality makes a hot girl ugly and an average looking girl IRRESTIBLE.

it's about WHO you are, not what you are.

one nighters are about WHAT you are - hot, fun, wild.

long term is about WHO you are.

I just want an innocent looking whore that slathers herself in peanut butter.

I really think you are looking at this all wrong. In my experience, what you both DON'T want out of a relationship seems more important than what you DO want.

I don't know if it's age or experience, but I stopped looking for what I WANT versus what I DON'T want, and that seems to work alot better.

Things you DO want seem to be easier to compromise and agree on than what you don't want.

Take it for what it is... :2 cents:

It's pretty funny to see all these guys that bitch about women only wanting money and big dicks, when they're sitting here saying they just want a good looking maid-slave. :1orglaugh

If that's what they really want, and they can find it, more power to them. But it's probably cheaper to just hire a good looking housekeeper with prostituing tendancies than to try to carry on a "meaingful relationship" with a good-looking gold-digger!

Why not also ask what women want? I could give a rats ass about money or looks or penis size. Honestly. I can put up with alot of negative stuff but there are a few things I absolutely do not want, and will never, ever tolerate.

#1 is cheating. Mrs. Confusious say, "Man who bring home disease die slow, painful death at hands of wife."

That's tied with #2, beating. If a guy even THREATENS to hit me, I'm gone.

I just ask for respect, equal treatment and real caring. If someone gives me that (and my husband does, yay!) then we're right as rain.

Just remember, I'm not putting down the guys who want cheap sluts and toilet scrubbers, that's your business if you want that and can find it! I'm just saying that I personally would never be somebody's bitch, not for any price. I once told a guy that had just gotten a 3 million dollar inheritance :321GFY because he raised his voice at me for taking too long to get ready to go out. Sorry, I don't need that kind of treatment, not for 3 mil or 300 mil or even 3 tril. :) But that's just me.

2. Come naked

In my opinion there are two types of lady. One that you just want to give a dam good rooting to but would never dream of marrying (Jenna Jameson). The other is a lady you want to have more passionate sex and want to look after and marry.

Lets face facts would you even consider having a long term relationship with Jenna Jameson. Imagine taking her to see your parents "Hi Dad this is Jenna, you may recognise her she is the dirty whore that appears on cable tv after midnight".

Now the sex is unimportant to me, She would have to have a great personality, be smarter then me( which isnt hard) has to be attrative in my eyes BE DRUG FREE and she could NEVER EVER cheat on me, even with another girl!

thats what I am looking for and I allready know I will never find a girl like this :( so right hand left hand Ill just dress up and make sweet love to them both. :thumbsup

hmmm what do men want in a ltr?

a whore in the bedroom and a 5 star chef in the kitchen and the rest of the time 'be seen but not heard':1orglaugh

Ice 06-20-2003 07:57 AM

kudos to you SleazyDream for posting someting worthwile. I agree with everything you say but will add....

I look for someone that will challange me intellectually. I need someone that will stimulate my mind....someone that I want to talk to. Someone I can grow with and not have to drag along for the ride. They must also accept the business we are in and understand that things change overnight and we must react quick to the changes or loose money. Another big thing for me is trust and communication... without those you don't have a relationship.

And to all those that respond with... I want a whore cook :321GFY

TheEbonyFelony 06-20-2003 08:00 AM

I love an independent woman who has her own independent thoughts and can stimulate my mind..not to mention swallows and can rolla mean blunt

Some good points.

Ever see "The Astronaut's Wife"? I want Charlize Theron. Yes, that's what I want in a woman.... Charlize Theron.

Jeffery 06-20-2003 08:29 AM

I'm about to say something really pathetic:

With women nowadays, there is only one thing hard to find and it is exactly the only thing I would want in a relationship.

Loyalty.

this one goes both ways... the last guy i was really into i told him the only rule i have is 'do not try to fuck any of my friends' and what do think happened? Got a phone from my girlfriends telling me that he tried really hard to fuck her.:321GFY

cheating shows disrespect and lack of interest in the person and i would rather be alone then to be disrepected and be with someone that isn't intested enough to be with just me.

If i'm going to put time into being with someone then it will be a relationship.

TheFLY 06-20-2003 08:48 AM

My new list:

1. Beautiful heart (highest form of intelligence)
2. Very aware, not just well-advised.

All the job benefits come from those... I feel sad for the woman that's a doormat for a selfish jerk, but more power to her for being patient... sometimes learning by example is the best way, but as somone else said -- waiting for the catsup can be stifling.

Bow^2

steffie 06-20-2003 08:49 AM

I have been married for a pretty long time, so I kinda figured out what guys want. Besides the obvious SEX

A nice home
A person they can talk to
A partner who can stand by them thru thick and thin
Dinner
A wife who knows how to take care of him
Happiness
Clean clothes
Clean home
Kids who are taking care off
His peace and quite when he wants to watch his show
Somebody who takes care of the everyday needs

I know many men will cheat on their wives for a little nookie and to make them feel still sexy and wanted, expecially when they get older and see younger and hotter guys all over. They also watch younger women and porn.

Sure men compare their wives with those hot girls, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, men want partners not sex with no brain.

Men are big babies at heart and always like to be nurtured. (Ever had a sick husband?)

Women have to be inbetween a slut and madonna, than men will be happy.

TheFLY 06-20-2003 08:53 AM

Well how many of you want to get married in the church and all that...? Kindof hard to talk about loyalty if you don't take marriage seriously...

Loyalty can mean alot more than not cheating or making a public vow.

A couple should stand behind each other no matter what.

And marriage doesn't mean shit. Marriage is a form of ownership. A couple that is secure enough with each other to not have to get married is just as likely to be a happy couple.

SNIPER 06-20-2003 10:22 AM

1. The mother
2. The virgin
3. The whore

I think they want all of the above

Kimmykim 06-20-2003 12:06 PM

Unfortunately most men seem to want someone to sit down, shut up and do what they say when they say it.

Have I mentioned lately how good it is to be single again? ;)
