Whats the average rebill % ??
 

Only 10% of signups rebill at this one site.
I think its low, but the program owner tells me it actually is OK.

I think it depends on the niche your paysite in.

30% for mainstream (from trial to monthly) is ok.
50% after in monthly rebills.

Niche sites should have better rebilling ratio.

Everyone is a total fucking liar about retention percent, and quotes absurd numbers.

Sophisticated surfers today don't like a monthly bill, they go to a site, download 30 gig, then pull the plug and move on. They'd have to be a moron not to. Why pay $240 a year for a site when I can visit once every 4 or 5 months and download the whole thing for $24.99?

I retain at 101% though on my sites.

Since I stopped doing trials I have noticed two things:

1) Overall, my sales have increased a whole load - I get 20% (Numbers, not cash volume) more sign ups for recurring memberships.

and 2) Whereas previously I had no non recurring option, now I have and I get a load of sales through that door -

The trial to full membership is quite low for me, normially 20-30% on sponsors I look at. I have one sponsor that is around 10%, but of the 10% that rebill, they stay 6-8 months, so I still push them. Look in the members areas, and see if it is anything special, or if it is some broken plugins and overcompressed pics.

I have promoted a few sponsors the didn't ever seem to rebill ever.

I had 1 that I sent about 8,000 uniques to, got 1 trial for 1.95 and when it rebilled, I got a credit for 12.50 and a credit for 1.95

Net for my traffic zero... goose egg... waste of time.

uh 75%(give or take a few) of the US is still on dialup,not every surfer can just download a members area just like that

The ratio is unimportant, what matters is - that surfers with cable modems disproportionately sign up for pay sites, especially movie sites.

My average member downloads a gig or two a month, so its not coming from a dialup.

Anyone saying 60%+ is full of shit, surfers these days are fucking trained, they get burned at soo many sites, they love Trial Memberships, they signup and before they even download a single thing, they are cancelling.... Doesnt help that processors send emails with the Cancel Links in them first thing.

i know someone who has over 90% rebill rate and a big member base. Its all about how you treat the members, the content, and how often u update. :321GFY you are full of shit

I remember when bangbus came out. I did a trial join and downloaded all the movies on my dsl connection. then about every six months i sign up for a trial and download all the new ones. How many other people do you think do this. I seriously doubt most sites get 50% trial to full membership.

well here's a real stat, no bs, I sent just over 300 sales in one month to a niche site with exclusive quality content and it rebilled at 34%, a similar site that I sent about 90 sales to rebilled at 44%, anyone claiming much higher than that Id like to signup and promote em :Graucho
