Anyone use Adult-Outsourcing service?
Seems like a really useful service and a good value. However, they're based in the Philippines, isn't porn graphics production/webmastering (sic?) illegal in the Philippines?
Send your feedback cuz Im interested in using this service. |
New spammers on gfy :)
you can probably find better deals for full time overseas ppl on script lance, or even webhostingtalk. |
No, as long as you don't do the actual production of materials in PH.

Any other insights on this? I wouldn't want to plunk down 5K a month and then be left high and dry cuz the service was raided by the Philippines cops. A buddy of mine had the same problem but in Bangladesh, dude who wrote his scripts for him and image services got closed down.
|
so far i m doing good with them
and mind that bengladesh is muslim, philippines is not (not yet) i think you should give them a try |
Philippines is a schitzo country.... extreme Catholicism on the one hand and prudishness [as evidenced by its Penal Code] and $20 all night "long time" sex sessions on the other.
I just don't want to be left high and dry if there's legal issues. Quote:

Keep your money in North America.
If you need PHP scripting or webmaster services, contact us. :thumbsup |
My personal take on these guys is that they're dirty, but that's my personal opinion. Rictor has used their services I believe, he might have something to say on the matter.
macho :321GFY asshole. Edit: PS if you're worried about legal issues, don't even bother with it, there's pleanty of other solutions out there. |
We have one designer, ordered a second that should start any day now. No problems. My partner also has two girls from their company working on miscellanous projects for him.

Then cough up the money for real programmers & webmasters from a country with a functional legal system. Third world toilets have a tendancy to get flushed once in a while. You will get what you pay for dumbass. |

LoL, you're right , you ARE gruffy.
Despite the charisma overflow emitted by gruffy he DOES have a point: there is a premium for legal protections. Given the nature of Internet law, I wouldn't want to be subpoenaed by another country for an obscentiy trial cuz I wanted to save some $ on design/script construction. Besides, the Miller standard of obscenity barely protects pornographers here in the US.... it may be wishful thinking that other countries' legal similarity to this standard would translate to the same level of protection :( That's why its a probably a good bet to outsource to Eastern Europe and other porn-tolerant countries with really crappy exchange rates. Unfortunately...outsourcing is the future. I just plan to outsource my requirements to jurisdictions that allow for this type of material. Quote:

what a bunch of racist rednecks a lot of you are,
what makes you think that you are so supperior to phillipinas ??:321GFY |

My philipino aunt and my philipino step-mom who say don't ever do business there. Fuckwit. :ak47: |

Because we don't break the law?
|
even your fucking retarded president is breaking laws and international that is... (us) and jean chretien is as dumb as bush anyway
anyway there is no use arguing with people who have never been out of their country and have only one brain cell :321GFY |
Rictor used them. So the only real opinion on it so far that matters is his. Some of your designers, sponsors, etc.. probably smoke pot. I don't see anyone crying "Waaahh.. my designer smokes pot.. I can't use him anymore."

MSN and Andersen outsource their callcentre activities to the philippines. It's a fascinating business. India aims to do all backoffice of the western world.

And no, I didn't pop out from under a rock. If you actually knew anything that was going on in the biz, you might realize that much. Friggin waste of space and energy.... you are the reason that gfy gets the reputation that it has. b-bye :321GFY |

It's funny how many lawyers there are on the board? I am wondering how some of these people could possibly know what is legal here and what is not. |
Quote:
Funny I can access your web site here. So by your standards, you are breaking the law. |

It's an outright insult to all who posted when people were only asking for clarification on the legalities of working out of the Philippines. If you're going to step way over the mark and label everyone in the worst possible way just because they want to know all the facts, then expect an over exhaggerated response in return. Don't go labeling people who have not yet labelled you... but might do so... because they definitely will afterwards. Am I a lawyer? no... but I'll gladly take you to court if you start broadcasting to everyone in the industry in which I work that I'm racist. Wanna try me? |
Oh, and by the way... my site has no porn on it... so yes, it's legal.
If you had actually gone to my site you'd see that. It's a portal to porn. But thanx for pointing people to the way :winkwink: |
Most webmasters can no longer afford North American programmers, they charge 10 times as much as as offshore programmers for the same shit.
