Deeply disappointed - Fuck Metallica
|
Why?
|
I can't hear Kirk, I can't hear the bass, all I hear is drums and James.
Man... bring the Justice back. |
Why? Do you really have to ask?
Listen to that shit. Hammet is capable of incredible solos. I can't even fucking hear any guitar, let alone a solo, on that whole song. It's all singing (weak, no screaming) and loud over-powering drums. Like Ulrich needs a bigger ego. The rest of the CD better not be like that. Did you watch Icon? They were smiling and laughing when Snoop slaughtered Sad But True. Pathetic. Bounce y'all. |
no kidding :(
|
i do not understand.
is this a new generation weeping over metallica? c'mon old schoolers, teach these kingergarteners. metallica died with damage inc, sorry you got into them so late. i was smoking some of my first hebrs before puberty listening to Master Of Puppets man, it died there. I KNOW OTHERS feel the same way. :glugglug |

hetfield in a song booth taking 'singing lessons? Learn a fucking Bob Seger tune, he and the rest turned lame, anyone from the old days knows this. buahaha lame. he should have stuck with what he started, he let down old school fans, you guys can complain this go around :winkwink: |
No, I hear you Fletch. Shit man, you need to remember I'm 19. :winkwink:
The black album was my first introduction. Say what you will, it's still a great album. However, everything before that is in a complete world of its own. I get stiff every time I pop in Metal Militia and The Call of Ktula. |
Metallica died with Cliff Burton - And Justice For All is so much weaker, and from there, Lar's pussy power mind meld with Hetfield really kicked in. It took a few years, but they went mad gay. I cannot even begin to fathom "Load".
They gave me some good years, but they passed into the fat Elvis in the white jumpsuit stage when that black album came out. |
I reckon it's alright. It will no doubt sound better on the CD than that. It's a pretty shitty quality video. It ain't no Master of Puppets, but was anyone really expecting it to be?

its like someone seeing the doors on tyour this year with Ian Ashbury talking about, I dont like the Doors.
Too young to even know anything about The Doors, and the original singer, but complain about what they doing now. ;) Fuck Metallica. They died with MUSTAINE! hahaha :glugglug |
|
I think they are trying to be just like Bush or Creed or some shit like that.
Quite disheartening... |
I still have hope. Also still waiting for buddy Labret to get me the dump! :Graucho

... make your contribution and get a better seat.... LIE!

just be thankful James can't pull off Michael Jackson dance moves, they'd fucking tour with Britney Spears they jumped the shark when Beavis & Butthead goofed on them, called James the "Cowardly Lion" - you could almost hear the testosterone dry up |

I remember you saying something about Black Sabbath being the most poorly executed music ever? Just curious, those comments stick in my mind as you post a pic of Ozzy. Im a huge Sabbath fan, and remember you saying that. ;) |

Ozzy on the other hand.... Ozzy fuckin' owns. Best thing that ever happened to him was the exit from Sabbath. Regards, Amp |

Same as I dig ex-Metallicat Jason... doesn't mean I liked Flotsam and Jetsam, because they blew ass. And just cuz they blew ass doesn't mean Jason was a bad bassist. :)

Ozzy looks like an 80-year-old with a 120-year-old brain.
|
Metallica died when James cut off his hair and shaved off his Goatee :glugglug

And whoever mentioned Metallica sucking after Cliff Burton left hit the nail on the head. Justice was a strong album, but any song by Metallica with the name "Burton" or "Mustaine" in the writing credits is miles beyond the rest. You can't even hear Newstead on Justice for fucks sake. Listening to St. Anger literally gave me a headache. |

Ozzy wouldnt be fuck without his foundations. Randy? I think of him more than Ozzy. 'No More Tears' or 'Nativity In Black?' get real. :glugglug |

they best shit they did was before what, 1979? Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zep - all sound crude as shit by todays standards - but I'll pop in Hole In The Sky and feel all warm and fuzzy |

Metallica broke up after the black album. All thats left now is old men trying to earn money making music they think is popular. I dont even call them Metallica anymore. They're nothing more than sold out has beens.

Have you heard any pre 1980 Black Sabbath? 99.9% of all metal bands name the original Black Sabbath as one of their main influences. I can only assume you're stirring the pot with your comments, or the only Black Sabbath you've heard was recorded between 1982 and 1998. |
