I am with Charly. A friend of mine wrote a movie about daytrading. Guess what? It never got going as this type of job staring at a screen all by yourself for days at a time is neat to us but not to others.

seriously let's do it... whoever invests gets interviewed... I'm all for it. I'll come around (naked) and interview everyone. We'll talk about porn, the biz, our lives... it could be funny, sexy... make us lots of money. :)

and there would have to be a scene where he has to come clean about his addiction to cocaine and Twinkies....

I have something interesting in mind, ill need to spend some cash on some famous hollywood writers to help out and see if there is something to it.

There was a spec comedy script sold a few months ago about a bunch of guys in college who start a porn website and the hijinks that insue. I'll see if I can find the logline..

If I line up the financing, I'm looking to make a film from a screenplay I've had lying around for a bit, but it's a Barker/Lynch-inspired horror flick.....maybe I can make one of the characters a porn site operator.......

hmm, the vampire cop who has his ghoul partner decapitated by a doctor who's tired of working in a town of freaks......maybe the first tourist he takes it out on will be a porn site operator.......

It would be interesting if a crew followed 5 different webmasters, from a clueless loser (Spacedog?) who ends up quitting the biz, to a big boy like Quiet who makes it big. I think it would be fascinating to observe behavioral differences between the winners and losers, and how their environment reacts to their success/failure.

I came up with a big thread on this last year... I think it's a fantastic idea... somebody will eventually do it... probably somebody reading a thread like this will hook it up... We just have to make sure the Boneprone Family is properly represented...

it would be cool to shoot film with someone who is just starting out. could follow the lives of several new companies, and drop them as they fail. epitaphs for those who fail. continue on with that ONE that manages to make it.

would be a great story. this is what i see when i think of adult internet movie.

The key to a film set in the context of this biz -- as in any movie -- is EXAGGERATION... Exaggerate the lifestyle, the players, the crime, the money... yadda yadda... probably it will make us all look bad but who cares... just more newbs for me to manipulate :)

Blow everything we do out of proportion... but seriously this biz is crazy enough already behind the scenes to make a good film w/o exaggeration...

i would rather people didn't even think about us - that they didn't have a clue we are sitting here trying to think of ways for them to pull out their CCs. Just let them do it and think it all comes from the porn fairy

I've done film finance projects before and all I will say is if you like losing money its a fun way to do it.

Very few people will understand our warped senses of humor.

You think people will pay to be entertained by us. We all need to look in the mirror if you think so. Our babes and Party Goat hell yeh, but us hell know.

If anything, knock off Adam Glasser's Family Business show running on Showtime. Video is a lot less expensive than 35mm film.
