Mueller public statement at DOJ 11am...be there

Let's see if he has the nuts to contradict that scumbag Barr.

RedFred 05-29-2019 07:44 AM

Don't hold your breath, he still works for Barr.

Hawkeye 05-29-2019 07:48 AM

No collusion.

No obstruction.

No crimes.

Thank you for your service, Mr. Mueller. Enjoy your retirement.

And him & Barr have been personal friends for 20 years

And he gave Trump Jr. a free pass saying he was too stupid to know he was committing a crime.

And he punted Trump to congress instead of charging Trump himself

Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

BaldBastard 05-29-2019 08:22 AM

Mueller: "If the President did not commit a crime we would have said so........We DIDNT say so" -

Bladewire 05-29-2019 08:23 AM

So Mueller said Russia hacked our elections

And that

Trump committed obstruction and congress needs to open impeachment inquiries because DOJ "policy" says he can't indict a sitting president.

So "justice is blind" is a fallacy we're taught and there are people above the law in our society.

Remember these rules only apply to Republican presidents.

When a Democrat is President the rules miraculously change and they're held to the highest standards & their SCOTUS picks can be ignored, etc.

He said those 2 things for a reason.

It was a bit more alarmist than that.

Mueller: "Intelligence officers with the Russian military "launched a concerted attack on our political system" in an attempt to "interfere with our election and to damage a presidential candidate."

RedFred 05-29-2019 08:31 AM

He also mentioned Asspimp and Onwebcam are Russians pretending to be American.

So both sides think they won. Again. Nice job, Bob, shut the fuck up and go away. Everyone is sick of grandstanding law enforcement.

I don't see how the Trump side could possibly think they won anything. Mueller just shot down everything the White House and Barr has been saying since the report came out.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier: Mueller’s statement on obstruction is ‘the exact opposite’ of Bill Barr’s spin

Do you want me to post a tweet from Trump? Go read it yourself. He, and his followers, think it is a win. Sure, you can't imagine it, but that's what they think.

Gaslighting.

They don't really think it's a win they're just being gaslighting morons. Falsely seeing the "positive" size of things is a huge weakness and I love that about Trump and his followers.

Yes I saw his tweet, so what. Mueller could have came out and said he has a trail of checks from Putin to Trump and Trump would have still tweeted CASE CLOSED...I WIN

bronco67 05-29-2019 09:00 AM

Republicans read this as "because someone can't be charged with a crime means they didn't commit the crime".

But that's not the case at all. Crimes were committed. The job is left to congress to decide what to do with it. This is not an exoneration.

ilnjscb 05-29-2019 09:00 AM

What you are missing is that his followers and a significant portion of the voting public believe that. It doesn't matter that you personally don't.

Let's watch over the next few days and see if polls move significantly. I predict they don't.

Rochard 05-29-2019 09:12 AM

Amazing. Clinton lies about a blowjob and gets impeached, Trump has obstruction of justice and worse at every turn and yet... nothing.

King Mark 05-29-2019 09:13 AM

Cant wait to see the new shit UnHung, AssPimple and ThePorker sling around now that the entirety of their shit prior to this has been invalidated.

Hawkbrain and escorpiana dont count, you can tell they don't even believe their own shit and are just prolific trolls. Them other dudes tho... bonafide redhats.

Maybe they need to get the evidence they were obstructed from obtaining?

Diomed 05-29-2019 09:32 AM

Two sides completely disagreeing on reality,

What else is new.

You guys have literally been making up your own narrative from scratch this entire time and then shouting from the rooftops everyone else is a liar.

It's just like the Kavanaugh hearings.. You people pumped your own bullshit so hard and stomped your feet so much you genuinely started to believe your own bullshit.. When the entire charade was obviously engineered deception.

Zero concessions made.. Ever.

But guessy wessy, there is new investigations into the other side of the coin :2 cents:

So yeah.. You'll be hearing the word impeachment a lot more.. and you'll see attacks on Barr amp up as well.

ilnjscb 05-29-2019 09:54 AM

This from Scott Dworkin:
"BREAKING: Robert Mueller confirms that the Russian military attacked the US in 2016. He also confirms that the Russian Gov’t was behind WikiLeaks and the hacks on Hillary. Trump needs to resign immediately, along with everyone in the White House, including Mike Pence."
"Mueller made it clear today that Trump should not be president. He made it clear Trump is the greatest traitor in American history. And he made it abundantly clear that Trump would’ve been charged with obstruction of justice if he weren’t president. Trump has to resign right now."
So can we agree that's the left boundary - chance of that happening 0.0%

You're acting like the Mueller report is 430 pages of Trump being a great president. It's filled to the brim with bad shit. That's not my take on it...that's a fact.

Actually what came out today is one side, team Trump has been getting their narrative from Russian military command.

He's an alt-right hate fake nic troll Huey aka Diomed aka hawkeye, etc etc.

He's just here to gaslight that's why I've had him and his fake nics blocked almost 2 years now.

ilnjscb 05-29-2019 10:12 AM

Trump side: Prosecutor cannot prosecute, therefore accused innocent. Net effect, president cleared.
Non-Trump side: Prosecutor detailed accusations backed up by evidence, tantamount to guilt. Net effect, impeach.
Middle: Meh.
Again if the polls swing materially, then I'm wrong. If not, each side is entrenched and this exercise in self-aggrandizement was pointless.

If We Had Confidence That the President Did Not Commit a Crime, We Would Have Said So’

MFCT 05-29-2019 10:21 AM

The Mueller Report was never about bringing charges. It was about providing grounds for impeachment. Now, considering the Mueller Report has provided more than enough evidence to impeach, one must wonder what are they waiting for?

One must conclude that, at the end of the day, all of this...since the day Trump was elected, has been nothing but fluff and fodder whose only purpose was to raise ratings for CNN's and MSNBC's do-nothing round-table opinion discussions.

Impeach Trump, and surprise, the ratings cash cow surrounding all this drama is gone. I suppose it has been decided by the money people, that perpetually complaining about Trump and perpetually demanding his impeachment is more profitable than it would be to actually impeach him. Because then it would quickly become yesterday's news, last week's news, last month's news, last year's news. Ratings and profits would quickly plummet, and stay there.

Therefore, they absolutely will not allow impeachment to ever actually happen. The almighty dollar decides what happens in politics.

Notice that Mueller words it so it's not clear for simpletons and his words have to be disected. Mueller could say "If Trump was a normal citizen I would change him for his crimes but because he's president I cannot charge him." That would be easy for simpletons to understand but Mueller words it so that it has to be unraveled to be understood that's to help the Republicans.

Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty." Trump could not be proven guilty, so therefore the man is innocent. That's how it works in America. Those are our legal standards. Suck it up, dumb libs.

He could NOT be charged, so they did not pursue the subject.

If they had, and showed sufficient proof, Trump could not have been charged, could not have defended himself ... They consider it unfair.

Do you ever listened to other voices then your russian master ?

Sounds to me like Mueller is saying Trump is likely guilty but he couldn't indict so he handed all the evidence to the Justice Department which has decided, apparently, to do nothing.

In the end, I don't know if this ends in impeachment, but it will be an albatross around Trump's neck. In 2016 he was chanting lock her up at every rally. I have a feeling he is about to get the return treatment as it will be him under many investigations.
