- A lot of people live with their parents through college/university.

No country in the EU is dirt poor. It's a rich and modern country, if you compare it to most in the world. (Africa, Asian countries.)
The Netherlands and UK have some of the highest wages in the world. Since people are free to get work in another country within the EU, it's natural that a lot of people will go work there.

It is true that there are problems in many EU countries with big unemployment rate and wage gap between the different sectors. (Eg. business/tech vs. manual work). But those are problems in many other countries too.

Yes I hear this is true in Hungary as well. To live outside one of the major cities it must be like living in the "country" here in the US. More beautiful for sure but probably way less job opportunities.
