Chemical Plant turns out to be a cement Factory

of course it is.

everyone takes the time and effort to make sure the US cannot see their cement factories from the air.

hahaha

Brad Mitchell 03-24-2003 10:51 AM

ahhh... they're not allowed to have cement, they were supposed to be bombed back to the stone age!

:BangBang:

flashfreak 03-24-2003 10:51 AM

The factory was not camouflaged an army base NEXT to the
factory was. The POWīs taken at the site were from the army
base and had NOTHING to do with the plant.

Fron the article:

Graves pointed out that the US and Britain are desperate for evidence that Iraq has been manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.

"This has been cited as the main reason for going to war against Saddam Hussein, who denies having banned weapons.

"It would also explain why, in this case, there was so much excitement when troops investigated the factory."

DynaMite :2 cents:

Fletch XXX 03-24-2003 10:52 AM

Thats cool.

Saddam is already firing banned UN weaponry at us.

So its only a matter of time before we take it over and find all his secrets.

You mean the few Al Samoud missiles that were NOT destroyed
yet because the US started the war before Iraq finished to
destroy all these missiles under auspicien of the UN weapon
inspectors?

Its as simple as this.

If Saddam fired a single banned missile at us, this is proof he has yet again not played by the rules and again went against the UN.

Deny it all you want Dynaspain, stomping your foot doesnt change anything, sitting back and absorbing the facts is what this comes down to.

Again, if Saddam has banned weapons, when will it be enough? When we find the big toys? Just wait, we will.

We havent even gotten underground yet.

mule 03-24-2003 11:03 AM

Yay, now when Iraq gets turned into a parking lot, Saddam can use his chemical weapons to pave it
:1orglaugh

ServerGenius 03-24-2003 11:03 AM

Iīm not denying anything at all...Iīm just following the facts.
I would also like to see Sadam leave and better yesterday than
tomorrow......however the way the US chose to deal with this
is a big mistake. Thatīs the opinion of almost the whole world
and I happen to share that opinion.

Itīs not the first time this happens and it wonīt be the last.
But someday it will backfire at them....and someday might be
someday soon.

Tell me in your words how we should have handled it. Dont show me a link, or quote anyone, tell me in your words.

Even Spain is behind us in this, just because a bunch of civilians disagree with a war doesnt mean its gonna stop it.

And after we find all the nasty truth in this, you and your country will be safer, thanks to US, the good ole US.

Hey maybe we will cut the people who help us a better deal on some oil in the next 30 years ;)

Hehe. Now you're using anti-UN statements when it best suits you, but otherwise you'll use UN resolutions and such when they best suit you.

The Iran incident was mentioned briefly on Sky News or BBCNews24 about 6 hours ago. It had not been confirmed at that time, but was believed to be Scuds fired from Iraq.

Caught me my pants down..... The night was short and a lot of work today.

Everybody can argue forever, post links, counter-links, vidclips, and so on. Wont change a fucking thing. People are dying.

Now, if I was the Iraqi, knowing that they have pratically no food and little water ( oil for food doesn't work in war time), I would free and return the less than 30 coalition POW to the Coalition forces.

That many mouth less to feed and a great media coverage....

Meanwhile, I will liberate my cat in the backyard....

Wrong....the Spanish Prime minister is with the US for 1 simple
reason. He smells money. Spain is the worst performing EU
member. Itīs only draining money from the EU and has little
to nothing to contribute. The Spanish minister is only with the
US because of money.

There will be elections this year or next year. He will never make
another term.....nor will his party.

My own opinion about how the US should have handled this?
Very simple.....according the democratic system of the UN.

The UN was founded for these reasons only and the US is a
member of the UN. You can argue about if the UN has any sense
or not. The fact is there is a UN and the US is a member.

Going to War by themselfes overruling the UN is a big mistake.
It shows the US has NO respect for democracy when they donīt
agree with a democatic decision. Thatīs the behaviour of a
Dictatorship and the same behaviour the US is accusing Sadam
off.

As long as decisions are in favour of the US they agree when itīs
against their wishes they just chose to do whatever the fuck they
like.

And they keep calling themselfes the Leader of the FREE world
and an example for World Democracy.

We must be reading different boards. I see plenty of both, daily.

Believe it or not, I'm anti-war. Anti-capital punishment as well. Most of my statements suggest otherwise. The only difference between one anti-war person and myself is that I realize "talking" with an irrational man leads to no good.

You can not reason with the unreasonable. To think you can is absurd.

Sometimes force is needed. This is one of them.

Just to be clear. Iīm not Spanish....Iīm Dutch. Even if I was
Spanish because a politician agrees with something that doesnīt
mean the population of that country also agrees. In Spainīs case
95% are against the war.

And no Iīm not Anti America. Iīm against the way America
is handling this situation. Not agreeing with something does
not mean that youīre against a whole nation or every aspect
of a nation. The US also does and has done a lot of good.

But this war is a big NO, NO actually G.W. Bush is a big NO, NO
but again Iīm not that ignorant that Iīll judge a whole nation
and itīs population for the actions of a few guys. Dutch are way
too tolerant to do such a thing :winkwink:

So is iraq, can you explain the recent discovery of banned missiles? If that is not yet another breach of the UN membership nothing is.

So basically, people like you are waiting for the US soldier to get hit with Chemical Weapons, then youll agree?

Or will you say the Americans deserved it?

Forget it, I already know your answer.

Are you drunk?

The US is accusing Saddam of nothing, his actions are his downfall.

Again, can you explain these illegal missiles?

Thats clearly another case of him not abding by the UN.

So claiming Bush doesnt is silly.

Not the US government or military. The US media which uses to many adjectives and more often than not whose initial reports are not entirely correct.
