...unfortunately he may become Americas's joke. He has come across a new political model...which is to act immature and say outrageously ignorant and down right stupid things to win the hearts and minds of the ignorant and stupid general populace. Hopefully the somewhat intelligent populace outnumbers the ignorant and stupid populace but my confidence level is not very high about this being the case.

I have never in my life been a fan of the right wing per se and I have never been a fan of the ultra left ring. I am not a member of the Democrat or the Republican party. My politics have always been pretty much middle of the road.

Everyone that says "Trump would be a great politician because he is a great businessman" I hate to break it to you but non public businesses in a capitalist society are more often than not more similar in nature politically speaking to dictatorships in fascist societies. A strong central authority owner/ceo (dictator) that cannot be voted out profits from a workforce (citizenship) that dedicates itself to the company (State).

In my opinion, Trump every day looks more and more like a fascist demagogue with the stuff he says and the various groups he attacks either obliquely or directly.

He reminds me of the Andy Griffith character in Kazan's "A Face In The Crowd" and I hope people catch on how dangerous his rhetoric truly is. :2 cents:

I don't have any problems with business men becoming politicians. Just like an attorney becoming a politician, it is not inherently bad, but it can be. It really depends on the character of the individual. I think President Carter, peanut farmer, was a great president and is a great man although many would dispute his merit as POTUS. Republicans hated Clinton but he presided over one of the most successful periods for businesses in American history. Everything is relative.

Years ago I helped a friend become a US citizen. We decided before we started I should take the test myself. There was one hundred questions on the test and I only got forty of them right.

I saw stats about this sometime in the past and most of the natural born citizens that they tested could not pass the test.
