What is the best food you have eaten?
 

I don't mean how or where it's cooked. I mean if I could get hold of it today which food is the best in the world?
I am going to rule out sweet stuff in general so no chocolate or anything like that.
I am also going to rule out fast food so no McDonald's or KFC.

The food should also be able to be used as part of a main meal which pretty much rules out fruits.

So, GFY what is the best food in the world ever?

Can you add 10 or 15 more stipulations please?

best implies nutrition. but since i now know what you are asking for, the answer is fried chicken.

I could not single out anything, I like food, but there were no "wow" factors. Just very tasty, but that goes for lots of food.

What about caviar or stuff like that. Not had it myself but it's expensive.
Is it worth the price?

Personally I like Biltong, I wouldn't say it was my favorite food and you would be hard pushed to include it as part of a main dish. But well..

I used to always think I hated sushi. Probably cuz I always tried it in the china buffet setting. Anyways an ex girlfriend took me to a real sushi restaurant and now I love it.

I don't know if it's the best but I enjoyed it the most and I would love to have it again more then other dishes. Priced less then a $1 in India.
