when recreational weed becomes legal, are you going to indulge?

Will you check it out when your state legalizes recreational weed?

Or perhaps even take a vacation to a state that has recreational weed?

mineistaken 03-16-2015 05:22 PM

Well, why should it stop you from trying illegally? I doubt there are people with such a high morals that they want to try it and do not do so just because it is not legal :)

pornmasta 03-16-2015 05:23 PM

prohibition doesn't seem very efficient

candyflip 03-16-2015 05:44 PM

Who cares if it's legal or not? I haven't for 25 years and I will continue to not care, either way.

seriously?

you really think most people have no problem buying illegal illicit drugs from a drug dealer? as opposed to sitting in a club enjoying yourself and selecting a big bopper off a menu along with the champagne?:1orglaugh

i'm surprised i have to explain that.

Buying constantly yes, it is more convenient. But trying for the first time? From the friend of the friend etc, no need to go to the shady drug dealer.

In Florida a small amount can get you a year in prison.

SilentKnight 03-16-2015 06:21 PM

Been there...done that. Grew out of it.

I'm targeting my liver.

It's kinda funny to attend the Amsterdam WMA shows. All the people who turn their nose up at pot smokers are on the phone the minute they land...Calling and asking those already in town to pick something up for them.

I've seen this happen time and time again. :1orglaugh

Obama, during an interview with Vice Media co-founder Shane Smith released in full on Monday, said he's encouraged that liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans seem to agree that current U.S. marijuana laws don't make sense.

"We may be able to make some progress on the decriminalization side," Obama said. "At a certain point, if enough states end up decriminalizing, then Congress may then reschedule marijuana."

Last week, Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) introduced a bill that would reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I drug, which has high potential for abuse and no medical value, to a Schedule II drug, which has lower potential danger and recognized medical benefits. Nineteen states and the District of Columbia have decriminalized the possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use. Twenty-three states have legalized marijuana for medical purposes. Four states, as well as D.C., have legalized recreational marijuana.

Obama: If Enough States Decriminalize Marijuana, Congress May Change Federal Law

wouldn't it be awesome if our government finally works together by legalizing weed!

in 2017 it wont matter. hillary is going to get her ass beat on election day just like obama cleaned her clock. dems are tards going all-in on this tired old twat. she cant even send an email without breaking a rule.

the next president, donald trump, will re-impose federal law on the states & all this reefer madness will end!

teens should be begging it stays illegal anyway. I was drinking with my friends 16 year old son. He told me how much harder it is to get alcohol vs weed. its ridiculous.

:2 cents:

SmutHammer 03-16-2015 07:06 PM

Nope, I have nothing against it. I just don't like how it makes me feel.

blackmonsters 03-16-2015 07:21 PM

Please don't.

The last thing weed users need is a bunch of fucking amateurs who really have
no business smoking weed because they are stupid and panicky.

Weed is safe now because idiots don't use it, so idiots please don't smoke weed and give weed a bad name.

Stick to drinking booze and crash your car on that again.

NatalieK 03-16-2015 07:31 PM

Barcelona is now the new Amsterdam. We're now legally entitled to smoke marijuana in our homes & private establishments in Spain. We're also allowed to grow our own for personal use.

I've several plants growing on our balcony, they've only just began to sprout :2 cents:

The two of you could set up a weed store for tourists.

Is it your opinion that they've just begun to sprout?

Must be quite a chore keeping your finger on the pulse of the world's population.

MakeMeGrrrrowl 03-16-2015 07:52 PM

Yep, and they're native English speakers in Spain. Could be very lucrative.

It's still illegal to supply :winkwink:

We planted the seeds, less than a week ago. Then this weekend gone, it was 27 degrees. We put the plant pot on our balcony & have left it there since. The plants aren't an inch tall at the moment & they'll be another 3 months before they can be smoked. But very fun watching them grow :thumbsup

ErectMedia 03-16-2015 08:15 PM

Nope, don't do any drugs besides beer/vodka/cigs.

brassmonkey 03-16-2015 09:58 PM

Seth Manson 03-16-2015 11:34 PM

Pretty much agree if not a deep thinker your only going to panic from it.

If I'm passing through, but for some reason weed gives me the occasional panic attack. I hear that happens to some people with mild stress/anxiety but it calms people with social anxiety. I'm pretty paranoid about smoking things in general. (Inhaling) I have virgin lungs. My liver, on the other hand, is an old wench.

It's been that way since 1978, it's to do with privacy laws rather than drug laws.
They cant enter your house without a warrant.

You try walking outside a private establishment where they know you smoke dope... depending on what community you're in, they will search you.

10 years ago you could smoke on the beach, now they will fine you.

Laws are per community, just because you can get away with in it Cataluņa and the Basque Country, doesnt mean you can everywhere.

And Murcia is PP no? So they're probably not that friendly about it.

Plenty of people already do it, so yeah, I assume that they have no problem doing it...because they've been and keep fucking doing it.

Actually, believe it or not, I fall into that category ! While I smoked it in my teenage years, as an adult, nearly 50, I have not touched it for many years.

I wouldn't even know where to score these days, and that doesn't bother me. However if it became legal, and I could go to a proper establishment and purchase quality product, safely and legally I prob would.

Infact, when I was in Amsterdam for WMA I didn't even smoke any there, cause I knew it would pique my interest in it again.

Its not a 'moral' standpoint - Just that I dont need to be doing anything to draw attention to myself these days. But if was legal, then sure I'd indulge :)

BlackCrayon 03-17-2015 05:06 AM

regardless if you like weed or not there is a lot of money to be made when this happens.

slapass 03-17-2015 05:08 AM

It is sort of trashy to me so once it is legal, and you can do it conveniently I will. I would just prefer to avoid the whole drug dealer thing.

Just because it's legal, doesn't mean employers cant test for it and fire you for a positive resualt. I find that odd, but that's the way it works in CO. Meaning many people whom work for a living will not be able to use it and keep their job.

I kind of find that odd, but that's how it works..

aka123 03-17-2015 08:34 AM

Sure; I would get thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssss much weed and change my nickame as AKA-Ganja-Man. Totally, man..

Is that kind of stuff legal in US? To be fired for using legal substances? And I am not talking about smoking and driving, as it is illegal do drive drunk as well.

If you think smoking weed daily will make you a hippy you got some poor judgement problems

Hippie?? No, that isn't working at all for me. It seems that I will have to pass the weed, as I wanted to be rastafari. Turning me into a hippie isn't a good thing at all.

It's not legal on the federal level, it's only state by state which gives employers this ability. I don't think they would be able to fire anyone if it's made legal on the federal level. Right now it's just a grey area due to it being illegal by the feds.
