Let me preface this with I haven't aten at McDonalds in a long time, I'm surrounded by great food options at the same price and I like to support Chicago's local food. McDonalds actually has a really high standard for their stuff, and their food isn't as bad for you as you suspect. It's cheap alright, that's why "fatties" go there, because they can get more bang for their buck. But their food isn't bad persay, just high in calories. But hey, who cares about actually looking into shit and being truly educated when you can just call others uneducated? McRib was okay. |
this thread proves that avoiding mcdonalds doesn't make you a genius. Good work guys--especially the ones who are still overweight despite it.

I just want to try that

when driving by mcdonalds you can smell the trash of food they dont use, and it always smells like farts.
I have never witnessed any other type of food that starts smelling like farts a few hours after it's been prepared. Proof that the 'food' they make is almost literally shit. |

The bun alone contains 34 ingredients, says Meredith Melnick at TIME. In addition to chemicals like ammonium sulfate and polysorbate 80, the most egregious may be azodicarbonamide ? "a flour-bleaching agent most commonly used in the manufactur[ing] of foamed plastics like gym mats and the soles of shoes." According to McDonald's own ingredient list, the bun also includes calcium sulfate and ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, among other chemicals. So what's the meat made of? Pig innards and plenty of salt. Typically, "restructured meat product" includes pig bits like tripe, heart, and scalded stomach, says Whet Moser at Chicago Magazine, citing a 1995 article by Robert Mandigo, a professor at the University of Nebraska. These parts are cooked and blended with salt and water to extract salt-soluble proteins, which act as a "glue" that helps bind the reshaped meat together. |

that's why so many people over here dislike the idea of the free trade treaty between the US and the EU, we don't want your chemicals in our food |

Anyway, good, eat up and die faster! Can't be too soon for tasteless trash like you! |
Fresh, natural food has to be better than this.

To quote Eric Burdon & the Animals, song "San Francisco Nights" "This following program is dedicated to the city and people of San Francisco, who may not know it but they are beautiful and so Is their city this is a very personal song, so if the viewer Cannot understand it particularly those of you who are European Residents save up all your bread and fly trans love airways to San Francisco U.S.A., then maybe you'll understand the song, it Will be worth it, if not for the sake of this song but for the Sake of your own peace of mind." https://youtube.com/watch?v=8hv0M5etXFA You must come to the U.S., specifically Kansas City, go to at least a dozen BBQ joints and you'll understand. Buying a McRib should be a criminal offense. The person who invented the McRib should be given a slow, mean death KC wasn't in the song, but same idea. |

There's a little place down I-35 in Williamsburg called Guy & Mae's Tavern that comes really close to Joe's. It's a drive from the metro but it's worth it. |
