Let me preface this with I haven't aten at McDonalds in a long time, I'm surrounded by great food options at the same price and I like to support Chicago's local food.

McDonalds actually has a really high standard for their stuff, and their food isn't as bad for you as you suspect. It's cheap alright, that's why "fatties" go there, because they can get more bang for their buck. But their food isn't bad persay, just high in calories.

But hey, who cares about actually looking into shit and being truly educated when you can just call others uneducated?

when driving by mcdonalds you can smell the trash of food they dont use, and it always smells like farts.

I have never witnessed any other type of food that starts smelling like farts a few hours after it's been prepared. Proof that the 'food' they make is almost literally shit.

You know, we have a reputation for having some of the best BBQ in the nation but there's really only one place that really has great BBQ. That's Oklahoma Joe's...er Joe's Kansas City BBQ or whatever they're calling it now. Everyone rants and raves about Arthur Bryant's and Jack Stack but they are both mediocre at best.

There's a little place down I-35 in Williamsburg called Guy & Mae's Tavern that comes really close to Joe's. It's a drive from the metro but it's worth it.
