LinkOrganizer cheapestwebsoftware - DEAD?

Hi,

i bought a software linkorganizer from cheapestwebsoftware last and have some trouble with it.

it seems the forum is dead and the owner is not answering any more.

does anybody know what is going on there?

Yes,owner died lol.No clue what is happening, but yes he is been away for a while. But atleast userpanel still work so if nothing else you can download it.And when it comes to support, ask here about problem, maybe i know solution or someone else might know it.

Vendzilla 09-03-2014 02:56 PM

I use to chat with him all the time, Tradezilla was modeled up for me. Haven't heard from him in a while, hope everything is good with him, his scripts worked pretty damn good

robwod 09-03-2014 05:00 PM

He has completely flaked out.

I have several licenses for a lot of his software. But his support is non-existent to the point I've started to move stuff to custom solutions. Simply put, he cannot be relied on. Heck, I've been waiting for a domain name change on one license for more than 6 months.

Unfortunately, you should just give up trying to get support from him... you won't get it.

Having said that, if you post the problems you are having, someone here may be able to assist you.

brassmonkey 09-03-2014 05:59 PM

dont know what happened he's gone

crockett 09-03-2014 06:41 PM

It's easy to figure out.. adult died as far as affiliates go, which means there isn't much revenue in selling scripts like that. It turns to just doing a lot of helping a License owners with no more income. No one is gonna stick around for that.

+1

It would still be nice to communicate that but I guess that might hurt the few sales they still might get.

icymelon 09-03-2014 09:52 PM

shame he always had great support.

timoxxl2 09-03-2014 10:15 PM

i need to change the domain and i am afraid this does not work without him

does anybody know an alternative software?

Seth Manson 09-03-2014 11:43 PM

Nobody needs scripts to be a "media buyer" these days.

Alternative could be to use cracked version on domain which you need it lol. While i dont condone piracy,i think it is justified in cases like this.

robwod 09-04-2014 05:29 AM

Decry.pt states they can decode just about anything. Certainly I do not condone piracy, and I am not sure if decoding the software to change a domain name would be considered piracy per se, unless it was distributed/re-sold. It'd be against the terms of use of the script though to decode it.

Having said that, if you can't get support, you can understand why some folks would have it decoded to make sure the licensed version of the software they purchased still works.

To that end, you have to give some respect for how Arylia and JMBsoft opened up their software to allow existing owners to modify it and keep it working without support. Kaktusan, not so much. He continues to sell encoded software without any support despite claiming you'll receive it.

I understand that by ordering today, I pay only once $97 and I will receive full featured copy of Links Organizer and I will be entitled to all future updates and unlimited customer support.

That's pretty dishonest.

The entire business model of one-time payments has always been flawed. Whether it's for software, "permanent" links, or any other such nonsense. When the well runs dry, you cannot, and likely will not, continue to get what you paid that one-time fee for as there's no monetary incentive left to continue supporting what you purchased.

timoxxl2 09-04-2014 05:53 AM

did anybody unlock the LinkOrganizer??

Markul 09-04-2014 06:04 AM

heh I own a few copies of his software but I see that one was not updated since 2008 and the other 2010.

timoxxl2 09-04-2014 11:44 PM

anybody any idea how to get in contact with the guy from cheapestsoftware?

Apparently you can't. He does not answer emails, ICQ his support forum, or even requests submitted via his own support form inside the owner's lounge at his site.

More concerning is that his business site, Kaktus Technologies (kaktustechnologies.com) is expired and now a parked page -- this is where he kept all of his tutorials as well. *If* his scripts call home to validate the domain license (and I am not sure that they do), then this could be problematic if he lets his sales sites expire as well.

Best thing I can suggest is to keep trying all of the various contact information he lists on the sidebar of the owner's lounge. Your only other options really are either to find yourself alternative software or to have your licensed software unencoded to make the changes you need yourself.

mineistaken 09-05-2014 03:19 AM

shame, no integrity...

timoxxl2 09-08-2014 10:33 AM

does anybody know a similar software to the LinkOrganiser ?

Naughty-Pages 09-08-2014 08:05 PM

this is just a complete mess.... fuck...

sandman! 09-08-2014 08:07 PM

this is what happens when you sell software for a 1 time cheap price :2 cents::2 cents:

at the time, there was not much that was similar in the way of functionality... and the service was good to begin with..

And it hurts a bit after you've paid a couple thousand to have someone implement a few different copies of the script across 1000+ sites... :(

I do agree he should have not made it a lifetime thing, that's always an issue.. like those people selling lifetime links (I always chuckle at that). What he should have done was charge for major version changes. i.e.: new features, being able to handle newer php versions, etc, etc.. I, as well as most others, would have had no problem paying for that.

timoxxl2 09-09-2014 10:30 AM

does anybody know how to crack the software so we can continue using it?

To be fair, he stuck behind his software a lot longer than 90% of the rest.

Think UCJ, TM3, Comus and countless others whom sold their scripts for much higher prices and left long before the Links Organizer guy did. I know I have several thousand worth of useless scripts that can't be used from many other programmers..

Most programmers/designers are not business people. They don't have that foresight. Always sad to see a decent product fall apart because of that.

facialfreak 09-09-2014 11:01 PM

I heard he works at Walmart in Bulgaria now ....

Invest your time and energy into coding your own. That is what I did. And now I save larger amounts of time and money.

They may very well be great products, but the phrase "caveat emptor" comes to mind when I look at his products now.

That's not nice. Time to make new website and scripts with support, but no time for old customers. Not even a notice :upsidedow

timoxxl2 09-10-2014 10:32 PM

timoxxl2 09-14-2014 03:15 AM

Well, you could go the gfy route... lol

post warnings about his services on forums like this and on your own websites, and link the comments to his new service.. that way anyone who researches him will see negative comments about him... then email him the link to your topic at his new email address to let him know you will be relentless until he replies..
