ONE such reason is that you don't know what intelligence reports the president is privy to. He likely has good reason to do what he is doing based on those intelligence reports, of which you know fuck all about. Sure, guys like you demand that he show you proof, but that's not the way it works and you should know that.

I used to live on Eglin AFB where they tested the bomb. The base is about 60 miles across at the point where the testing range is. Read some local news sites and they said that the bomb was barely felt in Navarre Beach which is probably 30 miles from where they detonated it at. The cloud was supposed to be 10,000 feet. I used to hear shit blowing up in the middle of the night on the bombing range and it would scare the shit out of people sometimes. Some of the things they tested sounded like it was blowing up outside your window.
Went out on the bomb range a few times and it was pretty cool. We would find dozens of tanks blown to shit and bunkers that were nothing but craters. Lots of depleted uranium slugs from A10's or whatever else they were testing out there. Shitloads of Rattlesnakes too..

They said it was dropped near Eglin Air Force Base. Did you see any mushroom cloud?

If you think we aren't going to war you are crazy. We don't want Sadaam to cooperate but we have to dance the dance so we don't 100% piss off every other country on the map.
