OK so has anyone seen this movie yet? THE RING

I would have to chalk it up to one of the best put together movies I have seen in awhile..
So I was watching it with my Girlfriend who scares easily with horror flicks.
Well about 20 minutes into it she is awready barried her head deep behind me in the couch.. See I dont want to give the movie away with this.. But basically after these people watch a movie as soon as it is over the phone rings and a girls voices says "You will die in 7 days" And they do!!!
Soooo me being the practical prankster that I am Figure I would pull a little funny..
So I messege my buddy and tell him that at exactly 1:02 call the house with the # blocked and have his chick say... Well you know........
He didnt even get a chance to say it because as soon as it rang she Screemed and freaked out!! Course I jumped a little to because it was perfect timeing and the movie was FUCKING SCARY!!
So anyway she answers it cause I tell her cmon its a movie and all a sudden she starts crying and yelling "I dont want to die I dont want to die!!! I dont want to die!!!"
OHHHHHHH If only I had it on video tape!!!
So yea!! needless to say I think I may have just cut off my supply to sex for awhile....
But hey if anyone else wants to play a little funny on their chick this is the ultimate!!!!

LOL, I hope you're right. It's been a long time since anything really scared me and I miss the adrenaline rush. I doubt it'll work, though. I don't scare easily except when I _want_ to be scred. I can work myself into a real tremor with the right book :thumbsup

Of course, now that I think about it, I have known a few 25 yr olds that would have jumped around in horror like 15 yr olds over a phone call like that.


Sort of reminds me of that old horror show "When a Stranger Calls"...... where there was that child killer that was phoning the babysitter and saying "Have you checked the chill-drenn?"..... I'm telling you, if you knew your girlfreind was babysitting and you phoned her really late after the kids had gone to bed and said that, most girls back then would literally shit their bell-bottoms.

I lost a Gfriend once in a similar situation.

We had a scary movie night, and rented the Exorcist movie series. So, we watched it, and she was all nuzzled into my chest all scared and shit...

So, I thought I would pull a funny....

We went to bed after the movies and she was creeped out... so I said "Everything is ok... Here, check this out..." and I proceeded to make my head spin 720 degrees, and I puked all over her.

She got pissed, and took off. I haven't seen her since. :(

I found the movie to be slightly disappointing.

Just a hollywood update on chain letters/chain mail/chain e-mail/etc.
