It Looks Like Ukraine Might Split?..
Its all very confusing - It looks like the president is trying to form a government in the east while the opposition take over in Kiev...
Have I got that right?.... |
yep and that is best scenario to avoid what happened in Yugoslavia since it is coming form same kitchen.
|
In the game of Risk, the Ukraine is a very important territory to have if you want to hold Asia.
|
But seriously.. I've only been following this situation casually.. what do they want? Who's right?
|
Breaking: President just sacked by parliament...

Who's right? - Depends on who you ask of course - I would rather be part of Europe - But that's just me..... |
So it's basically over whether to join the EU or not?

The "rebels" are already controlling all the government buildings in Kiev. E.g.: http://www.srbijadanas.net/wp-conten...lj-790x711.jpg The message under Hitler's portraits says: "Hitler savior". Welcome to the reality, dude :2 cents: |

Ukraine will not split, guys.
Sure the politics can do that, but they only. And one more thing. I have no glue why russians so angry about the Ukraine? Personally, CyberSEO, you are totally wrong and see only what you want. About the Hitler picture above - that's photoshop. |

They were iron fist and aspiring for expansion and yet they did the opposite with Krym? very strange. |

As about the Soviets and their imperial ambitions. The Soviet Union was the only crazy country that didn't use the controlled countries to get their resources (slaves, gold, natural resources etc as the Euro countries and USA did for 100's of years). On the contrary, the Soviets gave away their money, food, weapon and natural resources (oil and natural gas) to the "controlled" countries for free. Do you know how much of goods the Soviets gifted to Cuba, African countries and Eastern European ones (Poland, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, West Germany etc) for free? What the USSR got in return? Nothing but hate and anger. This is why I was never supported commies that were always ready to give away wealth of the country to some foreign aborigines. Fuck commies and fuck their "imperial" politics. |

Russia wants to keep control and does allot of shit to keep it. |

You are seriously brainwashed product of Soviet/Russia propaganda. By the way speaking of aborigenes - most of the occupied countries were close to countries like Finland in terms of ecconomy before they were occupied and after they regained independence they were lagging behind so much it was not even funny. Soviets only deminished and destroyed occupied territories and not the other way around like in your fantasies... unbelievable... :Oh crap |

Not good comparison with yugoslavia. |

But for now please stop telling a one-side-true. Every country has radicals, don't you think? |

lol - i dont blame them - but the Russians emptied eastern Germany after 1945 - they took whole factories and even train tracks with them
but the whole discussion on here is useless anyways - there are many Ukrainians here in Brno and all but one i spoke to tend towards west/EU right now it's more important that the democratic parties in the Ukraine find a common goal and not start fighting among each other on top of that. you cant turn history backwards - Yanukovitch is gone |

USSR loved us so much that when we wanted to liberate from soviet domination the tanks came in to change our minds. Thank you so much for making half Europe happy in this way. On the other hand - thank you for going away peacefully in the 90s, you could have slaughtered us but you didn't. That I appreciate. :thumbsup |
