Tony Romo & the Cowboys 26-3 @ Halftime

SBJ 12-15-2013 03:50 PM

Not without their starting QB Rodgers they aren't a decent team

LeRoy 12-15-2013 03:56 PM

Wow! You must never see these guys ahead at the half against a decent team. Good for you.

" Romo has 93 starts under his belt. Here?s how he compares to other Cowboys quarterbacks through their first 93 starts: Romo 174 TDs, 88 INTs; Roger Staubach 116 TDs, 87 INTs; Danny White 147 TDs, 120 INTs; Troy Aikman 92 TDs, 82 INTs."

Not sure if you have been a football for any length of time but the game has changed a lot. All QB's are putting up better stats. This is apples to oranges.

dallas hater reporting in.

i've hated dallas since childhood. still do, they're my favorite team to root against, following in my pop's footsteps. i was raised in houston, we played dallas every pre-season those days, the competition between the cities of houston and dallas is long and storied, it's not just football, it's everything- culture, music, food, sports, etc.

that said, i picked dallas to win today in my pools, they won't lose every game in december but they historically lose most.

Huge football fan. In fact a Dallas fan since Craig Morton days. My point was Romo might not be a Super Bowl winner but he doesn't suck either. And for a walk on, a guy that was not drafted at all, he doesn't suck either.

Classic Tony Romo!!

beerptrol 12-15-2013 05:22 PM

Int.......

L-Pink 12-15-2013 05:23 PM

Wow.

.

bushwacker 12-15-2013 05:27 PM

Romo's record in December is terrible. Couple that with some bizarre play calling in the fourth quarter, and this could be another cowboy loss.

dyna mo 12-15-2013 05:27 PM

i didn't understand the pass plays chosen over running plays last week and i really really don't understand them this week.

murray's averaging ~8 yards a carry both games.

Yeah, because it's Romo's fault that GB is fighting their way back. GB is my #1 team and yet I'm still saying you guys need to learn that Romo can only do so much and stop hating on him for everything.

He did bring them up to a 12 point lead with like 7 minutes left in the game. Yeah, he threw an INT but it was a good throw and Shields made a good play on it.

You guys need to realize this is a team sport and stop blaming 1 freaking guy for everything... and again, this coming from a GB fan heh.

dyna mo 12-15-2013 05:34 PM

Yep, and guys like Shields can really make a good throw appear bad when their speed turns an open receiver into a well covered one. Great damn game and Flynn is back to being a GB hero.

Flynn is playing like a fucking champ! If nothing else he'll either earn himself a permanent #2 spot with GB, or his trade value is skyrocketing.

Another great play by GB defense on that last INT. But, we all know it's Romo's fault that Beasley didn't appear to be paying attention... and it's most certainly Romo's fault that the Dallas defense let them come back from a 26-3 deficit. Oh, it's also Romo's fault for the terrible Q4 play calling... like, fer shur...

2 key interceptions late in the game and they lost!

Yeah but in reality, you can't really blame Romo for the first one.. and I wouldn't really blame him for the second one either considering Beasley looked like he was lost and didn't know the ball was coming his way.

If you're a realtor in the Dallas area you might want to contact Jason Garrett and get the listing on his house...

slapass 12-15-2013 05:41 PM

Ouch! At least you won the first half and your QB is not horrible by most standards.

:thumbsup
