Is it still worth going to see Eminem ??

Been offered tickets to go see him next weekend.

Always wanted to see him years ago, but didn't like his last album at all, other than one song, and not sure if i'd dig him as much these days. Need to make up my mind by tomorrow anyway.

Anyone here seen him live ??

nexcom28 08-15-2013 09:27 AM

No but I would like to, where is he playing?

serious question, is it difficult for you to understand non-Scottish dialects? I damn sure can't really follow Glaswegian :(

Not particularly.

And for every clip like the one's you posted, there's clips from shows like Maury and Jerry Springer where you'd swear people were talking a different language altogether.

I could post some right now... :winkwink:

Sarah_Jayne 08-15-2013 09:58 AM

I wouldn't pass up the opportunity.

The only accent I still had problems with at times was a really thick Geordie accent.

Best-In-BC 08-15-2013 10:46 AM

No, he lost it

Tofu 08-15-2013 10:55 AM

Em is one of the greatest lyricists in hip hop. I don't care if his
newer songs are not as edgy. That is a legend and I don't pass
on chances to see legends perform, live.

Agreed. Those suburban white kids who primarily attend his shows
get dangerous after curfew!

.

Sarah_Jayne 08-15-2013 10:59 AM

Tofu knows that this is the song that made me a true fan of Eminem. There is so much brilliance in it from lyrics to the use of his voice to make the beat. Genius.

Ramster 08-15-2013 11:07 AM

Saw him 2 years ago in Montreal, he was AWESOME... yes worth going. he plays everything old and new!

Scott McD 08-15-2013 11:08 AM

9 years ago is not that relevant to OP's question as he already stated that he would have gone years ago. He is wondering about now. :2 cents:

Whilst this is ok, it's not a patch on his earlier stuff. :2 cents:

sicone 08-15-2013 02:42 PM

He's got a new album that's about to drop, will likely hear new stuff you haven't heard yet

When I had sex with someone, I informed her

Yes but it's there. Did I do it apart from that?

Well

You did. You're going to say to me when you get the courage to admit you were with 1 or 2 girls. Clearly. No I'll keep it. Your daughter thinks you're an idiot, honestly & do you know what? What's the point. You'll hit on me soon

No

When you're not on TV away crying. You're going to cry on your knees

How, it's me that always finishes it

What did I say?

Scumbag

I don't wanna talk to you

Sarah_Jayne 08-15-2013 03:26 PM
