If you had to move right now and live in any city for 1 year ::
Where would you select ?
Cost is no issue. You have 1 year. And the choice is yours. Where would you choose ?? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_omWFvgT-kV...globe%2520.png I know many people on here move around quite a bit, but i'm interested to see where most would choose RIGHT NOW to live if the chance came up... :question |
Cayman Islands or Caribbean
|
key west florida...

Do you have to stay for full yr?
If I could have a house in London england and vaca in Spain when it rains.. (the rain in Spain is mostly in the plains)... I'm all set then.. |

I'd like to live somewhere a little less off the beaten track...
A country where the natives wander around with machetes and maybe cut off complete strangers heads off in the name of some 2000 year old barbaric belief system... In otherwords, London? |

Terrorist shit is crazy people shit but people create their own shit themselves a lot. A friend of my sons girlfriends friend just decided to celebrate Victoria day getting drunk and running out into traffic got run over... my son watched him die in hospital. Big news story here no terrorists just a lot of alcohol.. or something.. 5 blocks from my house. We are our own worst demons. |
tokyo!!!
the city is incredible! |
Manhattan
|
Tokyo or Hong Kong
|
Seminyak, Bali. It has everything you could ever want to be happy, pricey for some aspects like drinking/having a good time but cheap as hell for everything else. I loved it there and would go back in an instant.

Gunkajima Island - off the coast of Japan.

I'd probably go with Paris. I have never been there, but it is a hub city for Europe with plenty to do and I could easily hop trains or short flights and visit other parts of Europe while there.
|
Honolulu. By the beach.

Well, I prefer to travel one entire year, so I can go to several places, but if the only option is to stay one year in one place I would choose San Diego.
|
New orleans, as long as its mardi gras all year long.

I'm actually going to do something like this starting around Sept or Oct this year. I wont be in any one place for a entire year, but I'll be traveling around the country until I get bored.
I'm setting up a Quigley 4x4 van that will be a class B RV. I'm putting solar and the whole 9 yards on it, so it will be self contained and go just about anywhere. Meaning I wont be limiting myself to just cities. :winkwink: As far as living abroad.. I don't think I could limit myself to just one city. However I wouldn't mind traveling around Europe and even Eastern Europe for a year.. |

If money was no object then it would be Sydney or possibly Tokyo..... |
