Okay, CCBILL, you've been given chance after chance. Time to go public....
I love CCBill. They've been nothing but good to me. But some major problems started Feb 7th. Please don't think I'm just trying to embarrass the company... either myself or one of my employees have called CCBill EVERY SINGLE DAY since Feb. 7th. Today is the 20th... that's nearly 2 weeks of daily calls. Every day we've been told "yes, there is a problem... we're working on it".
I am losing money every day and am tired of hearing "we're working on it". Here's one of the problems (there are others, but just this one will suffice for now): One of my major affiliates is receiving NO CREDIT on click throughs to my site. ZERO referrals show in his stats. So far he's the only affiliate that has brought this to my attention, but how can I be sure this isn't happening to others? This affiliate is a local guy that I trained to create and submit galleries for me to places like Richard's Realm, Persian Kitty, The Hun, etc. He promotes ONLY my site (I let him create his own galleries and host them for him, so I see where traffic is coming from), besides my server stats, he also uses PayCounter to track his unique visitors to galleries that he's created promoting my site. His pay counter stats show the following (these stats are backed up by server stats, and webalizer stats as well): Feb 7th: 154,861 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 8th: 215,227 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 9th: 103,675 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 10th: 208,163 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 11th: 76,280 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 12th: 60,036 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 13th: 34,426 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 14th: 33,125 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 15th: 266,953 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 16th: 128,603 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 17th: 88,664 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 18th: 39,861 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 19th: 67,533 uniques to his galleries, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). Feb 20th (today): 68, 474 uniques to his galleries so far, ZERO click throughs to my site (according to affiliates.ccbill.com). That's almost 1.5 MILLION uniques to his galleries since Feb 7th, from places like thehun, Richard's Realm, Persian Kitty, Thumbzilla, etc... and ZERO click throughs. This is RIDICULOUS! I've checked his referring code myself to make sure he didn't input it incorrectly. There are NO PROBLEMS from his end. He's simply receiving NO CREDIT for referrals sent to me. And if this affiliate is receiving NO CREDIT, I am wondering how many others aren't receiving credit. This is costing him a LOT of money... and if any of my other affiliates (I have more than 200 at the moment) are experiencing the same problem, how long will it be before they stop sending traffic to me? Prior to Feb 7th his galleries were generating a lot of money for him. He has no other job besides promoting my site. CCBILL: you have acknowleged that you are "aware of the problem and working on it" but it has been 2 weeks now. You are costing my affiliate a lot of money. I've been fortunate not to lose him so far... but how much longer can he be expected to work for free? I am sorry to have had to bring this public, but enough is enough. Fix the f--king problem PLEASE!! NOW! Not 2 weeks from now. |
Can you please post the link to the gallery?
I have tons of galleries all over and never had a problem. Please post the link. |
Did he try to signup under a new account or did he just keep the same account?
|
Yah Don post a sample gallery so we can take a look.
I use CCBill and do not have this problem with my affiliates accounts?? |
Dude, its called TGP traffic. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Sounds like it's time you get some better affiliate software running, so you can change processor order on a whim. Contact me if you're intrested, 1240050.

Have you tried having him sign up again, and getting a fresh new linking code??..just a thought. I do agree that ccbill is fucked on their support, they always were, and always will be.

He does a new gallery every day. Even old galleries get traffic, of course. It's just really odd that hit COMPLETELY STOPPED. ZERO referrals? Give me a break! |
almost every link has the code for & in it... that is your problem
put the "&" not "amp;" :2 cents: |
Here's the thing: he's been on the phone with CCBill, I've been on the phone with CCBill... CCBill admits that the problem is on there end. There's no doubt about that. They just keep saying "we're working on it". It seems to me that 2 weeks is more than enough time to get the problem fixed.

Doood, the linking code if fucked up amp; is not part of any valid ccbill linking code. It is on every page you posted. Tell him not to use frontpage or whatever the fuck he is using. ZoiNk |

http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...&PA=373139 that is wrong. it should be this: http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...0001&PA=373139 edit: ok that didnt work, gfy translates it... your software is putting two & in there basically... one real, one as the code... it wont work. |
Before I read any of the replies, it sounded to me like someone didn't know how to make ccbill link codes.

thats the correct link so its not ccbill issue or trust me housands of webmasters would be yelling Just have him fix it |
lol
Wooops. This is classic. :thumbsup |
Yep, your link codes are fucked up. Front page etc fuck up the ampersands by adding amp; to the end of it. You need to go in and edit that out by hand.
|
Donovan,
It does seem to be a problem with the linking code. Please ICQ me when you have a minute. I want to get to the bottom of what happened. 45471840 |
I think maybe the problem is the girls in the galleries are all ugly and no one wants to *pay* to see more. :winkwink:

Question is why didn't ccbill pick up on this issue in 2 seconds flat? It's not a new one...
|
Yeah dumbass, take the "amp;" out of the link code.
Thats your faults, not CCBills, unless CCBill gave you the code with that included. |
DonovanPhillips,
Do you have a sub account with ccbill with the number 0001? As far as I know they are 0100, 0200,0300 etc. Might be wrong, but that is how our codes looks like;-)) Have a great day;-) |

Time for a post edit..
|
In the HTML code:
& amp; amp;PA=373139 should be &PA=373139 |

 This isn't some new problem. We've been calling DAILY for nearly 2 weeks! |
If you use notepad to insert your links it leaves out the
"&" I noticed a HUGE increase in sales if that is taken out. Most of the time it is inserted with front page. I still did get signups, when that is in there, so I don't think that is the main problem, but I know it helps if you take it out. Hover over the links you will see it... |

your way is not as good imo cause what happens after you use 0900? then you use 1000, 1100, 1200???? and so on, more confusing IMO Cheers, BV |

Even so, any amateur programmer can filter the linkcode so it is read correctly, with the & a m p ;
CCBill can fix that. |

Besides... even IF no one wanted to JOIN the site, it wouldn't explain ZERO click throughs from 1.5 Million Uniques... |
shoulda posted here 2 weeks ago... lol:1orglaugh
