Until a few years ago you would only find them at imbecile forums like ATS and David Icke but nowadays these losers seem to pop up everywhere. The thing about government conspiracies is, they sometimes turn out to be true. And based on history, most governments have done some really out there and horrible shit. However, religious beliefs never come true. Not once. And they never will. So I classify religious whack jobs to be in a much worse category than the typical conspiracy theorist.

I think most people believe this exactly as you stated. There isn't some blind-faith in support of authority, government, corporations, etc... Most people seem to be plenty open minded about the possibilities of a conspiracy fact, but need a little more proof than the average conspiracy nuts like Johnnyclips or wehateporn who always seem completely ready to believe anything they read from a conspiracy site based on almost no credible evidence whatsoever.

If you dare to believe a credible source from experts on science, physics, etc.. then you're automatically considered sheep, while they can believe joe blogger from abovetopsecret or random caller to an alex jones show who rattles off a story off the top of his head after he watched a youtube video.
