I'd get into a pissing match with pimpdog but he's banned... oh well, too bad. if he gets unbanned he's suddenly a nobody again and then not worth my time and since he's currently banned I don't like talking to fake aliases so I have no way of knowing if it's really him or not.

Sleazy, not knocking you by any means here, but Pimpdog (the man behind all the variations of that name) has a program where he pays webmasters per signup, and has never been bashed for not paying (so far). That alone makes him a somebody.

Anyone who starts up a program from scratch, and pays on time every time with no excuses has balls of steel in my book. Running paysites and a sponsor program is not easy, and your average TGP or freesite guy would be hard pressed to do it and make it work.

I know because I do both.

Not kissing ass. Pimpdog doesn't know me, I dont' do business with him, and have absolutely no reason to side with him. Just saying anyone who runs a program like that and makes it work is a little more than a nobody. Banned from GFY or not.

I read that a couple times and it still doesn't seem to relate to what I was saying. Your gram is a somebody, cause I like to think all grams are somebody. But unless she pays out to webmasters for every signup, and pays on time with no lame excuses, then she's not somebody in the industry.

i dont' have paysites. When I took ad spots on my own for sleazydream i didn't use thrid party. now I use a broker and they don't use third party either. The only two programs I use affiliate on are AFF and streamrey - both have inhouse credit card processing and don't use third party cc processing.


(streamray does do a littel third party as backup though, but it's a VERY VERY small percentage of their total sales)

p`mpd0g reminds me a lot of Brad Shaw back in the day on Condom Project board, using the same tactics to make a name for himself..

cookie B usues a 3rd party biller.

does cookie A have any advantage over cookie B? I think not.
does cookie A do bettr business than cookie B? I think not.
does cookie B suck cause cookie A process for themselves? I think not.


basically what you are saying with your remark, is that anyone(program) that uses 3rd party proccessing isnt a player in this game.. right? cause that sure is what it looked like you said.
