I recently went spelunking in Northern California. I rappelled 165 ft into the main chamber of a cave.

what an adventure it must be to go spelunking, I have often wondered what it would be like but if I tried it there would be a crane, serious steel cables and a cement truck full of petroleum jelly involved :)

Great shots! Some of those formations look wicked gnarly. How long was the trip?

My best so far was cenotes dives in Mexico... scuba through caves... pretty special, but your shots beat mine... partially, I think, because all I had was a disposable point and shoot. Who knew it would suck in darkness under water?
