well, the "am I dumb" question is a bit cynical, I am happy I bought it... sites like MFC will only get bigger in the future and since I promote cams, I am confident this domain will earn me money...

Nevertheless, I am not an expert in domain values, so I have no clue if I paid for example $750 too much or $1000 below value.... Domains is a strange biz to me... the initial asking price was $5000 :1orglaugh so I said :321GFY

990 too much . they tricked you by putting a really stupid high price so then when they discounted it a lot you thought you were getting a deal by paying a stupid high price. with out the - it still not worth high xxx.xx

I appreciate the honesty... and I usually would do exactly the same . I just got my own reasons for buying this particular one. Also I feel the domain is worth at least a few hundred bucks so why not...

Thanks, and yes, I think it's true what you say, a few years back I would never bought a "free" domain (and certainly not for more than the reg fee)... but the biz keeps changing, so does my vision of promoting

It's surprising how many visitors that type free do buy. SE traffic is SE traffic. If you filter the traffic to its GEO location and send it to the right places you might be pleased with your investment.
