Music to work by, what do you like?

I have been listening to
Radiohead
Aes Dana
Four Tet
Moderat
Apparat
Mum

and Boards of Canada

They seem to propel me through work.

What do you guys like?

If I need to concentrate on what I'm doing, then some Back or Mozart is nice.

If it's just mindless tasks, then Slayer or Mastodon -- or some other metal band.

Quoted for the truth. My fave is 5...

babydred 07-09-2012 12:38 PM

I pop in my old school rap CD...I put one together with 100+ mp3s on it with rap from the 70s, 80s and 90s to bump in my whip. It's either playing in my PC or my in-dash CD player. Never leave home without it.

Old school stuff like, Biggie Smalls, Juice Crew, King Tee, Kurtis Blow (the breaks), Eric B. and Rakim, NWA, Ice Cube, Ghetto Boyz, Fat Boys, Early Eminem...the list goes on.

None of that new school garbage they call rap nowadays...it makes my ears bleed.

Monique Niccole 07-09-2012 12:46 PM

Pandora stations

Either something hip hop or Etta James, Nina Simone, etc.

BlackCrayon 07-09-2012 12:47 PM

i tend to like fast paced metal or punk music to keep me going. also like psychedelic type music from the 60's and some rap from time to time.

Slew_ 07-09-2012 12:48 PM

dash berlin, ferry corsten, knife party, armin van buuren.. the list goes on and on and on
