If the Republican party could just simply produce someone worthy of a vote it would probably be helpful.. but odds are Obama will see a 2nd term.. which hopefully might give him enough time to clean up the mess Bush got us into.

I find it funny how Republicans just put their head in a hole for 8 years of Bush running the country into the mess it is now, but the moment a Democrat jumps in, they just cannot keep their mouths shut about every little issue. most of which is not even within the Presidents control..

75% of the people I know voted for Obama, and 100% of those people will not vote for him again, and I am talking registered Democrats there. They might not vote for Romney, but they won't go vote for Obama and we all know how turn out is important in any election of this caliber.

Unless some earth shattering event happens, or Obama finds a way to offer Americans 99 cents gas again, I don't see how he will be re-elected.

Obama has done nothing to solve any problems, he is like a manager who is hired to save a failing business in the short term, but only works on implementing long term solutions. I have never seen the United States and the American people so negative, so desperate (At least in Florida up to a month ago). And don't cry me a river about how it is all Bush's fault that we are here. Obama knew full well what he was getting in, he promised to get the country back on track and look at what you have now.

Technically you are 40% right. Obama had full control over the Senate and Congress for 2 years. If he wanted, he could have had the Democrats vote a law that made Mickey Mouse Day a national holiday and there was nothing the Republicans could have done beside scream about it. He did use it to pass the healthcare law which made the Republicans apoplectic.
