PHDs spend ten years studying what WAS learned, the historical basis of their field, then they do research to earn their PHD.

People listen to a professor, a PHD, lecture because he has both the extensive background and historical basis AND he does research, adding new knowledge to the current state of the art.

I bet you did A/B split testing back in the day. Which theories you've held actually stand up to testing in today's environment? Find out and then I'll be interested in a lecture from professor Markham.

I've seen a lot of crappy negative posts from you Paul, but I still remember one of your posts that should be put in the GFY hall of fame. It talked about traffic, content, and many new ideas you were going to try on your own websites. It was so positive and upbeat that I remember scrolling up because I couldn't believe you had written such a bitchin post. I even commented on that very thing. You asked for advice from others on the board here and I saw some great ideas come back to you. I also noticed that the usual "trash Paul Markham" people didn't on that particular thread cause what you had to say made sense.
Give us some positive Paul Markham threads. We all here know that there was more money to be made in the "old days". We all know that giving away porn for free is fucking up our industry. I want to hear what does and doesn't make money for you now, something that will help todays wallet not the wallet of the webmaster from the days of Radioshacks Commodore computer. Enough of the crying let's do something about it.

Thank you Raymor and Barry-xlovecam for thinking I can come up with something new, when so many can't. My position is one of a man who has been sleeping for the last hour, I need to sleep a lot these days due to the cancer treatment.

However I have 2 new projects in play. One is ready for the next step. I need content producers/publishers or porn models to contact me to take it to the next level. This could be something Barry might want to get on board with. Any sponsor or site owner producing his own content or having it produced can get in on this. It might be the content has an alternative market that will pay any costs of production.

Once we have the content partners, not something I can shoot due to health, it will need to go to the next level of SEO. I have never claimed to be good at driving traffic. My skills are in knowing how to sell to buyers and produce something that will tempt them to buy. Even though with no skills in SEO and driving traffic, I get enough to make sales on the stores and paysites. Not enough to own a big yacht. So in the same boat as many on that one. :1orglaugh
